Description
実施例1:
図3から、本実施例で調製されるリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーのガラス転移温度は、通常の使用温度よりも低い−20.7℃であり、それにより使用中のバインダーの柔軟性が確保されることがわかる。しかも、該バインダーの粘度は中程度であり、その粘度は1500mPa.sである。
該バインダーのTGAチャートは図1に示される。該チャートから、水系バインダーが熱安定性に優れ、分解温度が350℃より高いことがわかる。
実施例2:
重量部で、260部の水、1部のアリルオキシヒドロキシプロパンスルホン酸ナトリウム、10部のアクリル酸、12部のアクリルアミド、30部のアクリル酸ブチルと4部のアクリル酸エチル、及び10部のveova10を反応釜に順に添加して、200rpmの回転速度で撹拌して混合するというステップで調製される。温度が82℃に上昇した時、過硫酸ナトリウムを添加して重合を開始させ、反応時間は20minであり、次いで回転速度を300rpmに上げるとともに8部のアクリル酸、4部のイタコン酸及び60部の水を添加し、86℃の反応条件を維持し、温度保持時間は4hであり、バインダーを中性に調整するまで弱塩基を添加し(弱塩基調整用バインダーは、アンモニア水、炭酸水素ナトリウム、炭酸ナトリウム等のアルカリ性物質である)、30min保温後に温度を下げてリチウムイオン電池用正極水系バインダー溶液を得る。
実施例3:
正極スラリー全体における材料の配合比は、水系バインダー2.0%、正極材料95%、導電剤S−P3%である。
このスラリーのチキソトロピーは良好であり、コーティングプロセスは18mの乾燥トンネルを使用した。ここで乾燥トンネルの温度は90℃-110℃-120℃-100℃-90℃に設定され、8m/minのコーティング速度とした。
このスラリーで調製される正極板は、滑らかで、カールや割れの現象がなく、嵩密度が高く、極板の歩留まりも高い。

Claims (8)
- リチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの調製方法であって、水を分散媒として使用し、アクリレートモノマー、両親媒性反応性乳化剤、ポリマー鎖の柔軟性を向上させるための特殊な官能基を有する機能性モノマー及び開始剤を添加して撹拌しながら均一になるまで混合し、昇温して重合を開始させ、反応させてリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーを得ることを備え、
前記アクリレートモノマーはメタクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸エチル、アクリル酸ブチル、アクリル酸ヒドロキシエチル、アクリロニトリル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、アクリルアミド、イタコン酸、メタクリル酸、アクリル酸ヒドロキシプロピル及びアクリル酸オクチルからなる群より選択される一つ又は複数であり、
前記機能性モノマーはアクリル酸オクタデシル、アクリル酸オクチル、アクリル酸ラウリル、アクリル酸ヘプタデシル、メタクリル酸オクタデシル、アクリル酸シクロヘキシル、バーサチック酸ビニルエステル、アクリル酸ベンジル及びアクリル酸パーフルオロアルキルエステルからなる群より選択される一つ又は複数であることを特徴とするリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの調製方法。 - 前記両親媒性反応性乳化剤がアクリルアミドイソプロピルスルホン酸ナトリウム、アクリル基を含む特殊アルコールエーテル硫酸塩、二重結合を有するアルコールエーテルスルホコハク酸エステルナトリウム、アリルオキシヒドロキシプロパンスルホン酸ナトリウム及びアルキルアミドビニルスルホン酸ナトリウムからなる群より選択される一つ又は複数であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの調製方法。
- 前記アクリル酸パーフルオロアルキルエステルは、アクリル酸パーフルオロアルキルエチルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの調製方法。
- 前記開始剤は無機過酸化物系開始剤、アゾ系開始剤、有機過酸化物系開始剤、水溶性レドックス開始剤及び油溶性レドックス開始剤からなる群より選択される一つ又は複数であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの調製方法。
- 前記開始剤はアゾビスイソブチロニトリル、過酸化ベンゾイル、過硫酸ナトリウム、過硫酸アンモニウム、及び亜硫酸ナトリウムからなる群より選択される一つ又は複数であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの調製方法。
- 前記機能性モノマーの使用量は、モノマーの全使用量の5%〜40%を占め、及び/又は前記両親媒性反応性乳化剤の使用量は、全重量の0.1%〜8%を占め、前記リチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの固形分の含有量は10%〜25%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの調製方法。
- 前記両親媒性反応性乳化剤の使用量は、全重量の0.5〜2%を占めることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの調製方法。
- 反応中の撹拌速度は200〜800rpmであり、前記開始の温度は40〜90℃であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のリチウムイオン電池の正極用の水系バインダーの調製方法。
