本開示は、一般に、カルバゾール及びトリアジンを含み、様々な数のフェニルユニットがそのコアに結合した新規化合物に関する。特に、本開示は、PHOLED用のホストとして、これらの化合物を含む組成物及び/又はデバイスに関する。

Claims (11)
- 式Iの構造を有することを特徴とするOLEDに用いるホスト材料。
Lは、結合、非縮合アリール、非縮合ヘテロアリール、及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選択され;
X1、X2、X3、X4、X5、X6、及びX7は、CRであり;
Y1、Y2、及びY3は、Nであり;
各Rは、同一であっても異なっていてもよく、独立して、水素、重水素、非縮合アリール、非縮合ヘテロアリール、及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選択され;
ただし、前記OLEDに用いるホスト材料が下記構造を有する化合物249、又は化合物250である場合を除く。)
- R1は、フェニル、ビフェニル、ターフェニル、テトラフェニル、ペンタフェニル、ピリジン、フェニルピリジン、及びピリジルフェニルからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のOLEDに用いるホスト材料。
- Lは、フェニル、ピリジル、ビフェニル、ターフェニル、及び単結合からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のOLEDに用いるホスト材料。
- R4は、フェニル、ピリジル、ビフェニル、及びターフェニルからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のOLEDに用いるホスト材料。
- R5は、フェニル、ピリジル、ビフェニル、及びターフェニルからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のOLEDに用いるホスト材料。
- 式IIIの構造を有することを特徴とするOLEDに用いるホスト材料。
前記OLEDに用いるホスト材料は、下記の表に記載される化合物603〜化合物686からなる群から選択され、表中、R1、R2、R3、R4及びR5は、定義した通りであり、Hは水素、A1は次の基:
- 式IVの構造を有することを特徴とするOLEDに用いるホスト材料。

- 第1の有機発光デバイスを含む第1のデバイスであって、前記第1の有機発光デバイスが、

カソードと;
前記アノードと前記カソードとの間に配置された発光層とを含み、
前記発光層は、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載のOLEDに用いるホスト材料を更に含むことを特徴とする第1のデバイス。 - 消費者製品である請求項10に記載の第1のデバイス。
