Description
本発明の各種態様は、概して、血液濾過システム、血液濾過透析システム、血漿交換システムなどの、血液透析等の新システムに関する。したがって、本明細書に記載の各種システムおよび方法は血液透析に関連して説明されているが、その他の透析システムおよび/または血液または血漿などのその他の体液を処理可能な体外システムにも適用可能であると理解すべきである。
カセットの別の実施形態を図35Aおよび35Bに示す。図35Aを参照すると、カセット4400は4つ以上の部分を含む。それらの部分は、中央プレートにレーザ溶接された複数カバー4412〜4416を有する中央プレート4410を含む。図34Aで4340として示されるポンププレートではなく、これらの複数カバー4412〜4416が使用される。図35Bを参照すると、中央プレート4410が再度示されている。しかし、本実施形態では、図34Aで4320として示される単一の作動プレートではなく、複数カバー4442〜4444が使用される。図35A〜35Cは一実施形態を示し、他の実施形態では、複数カバーの数は変更可能である。
式1は、測定ガスの体積を変化させることによって生じる温度変化または温度差が最小限であり、システムが略等温であると仮定する。温度変化が相当大きくなることのあるシステムの場合、使用される状態式によって定義されるように、当業者にとって自明である通り、測定流体の温度依存がサブステップ4(482)の体積算出に直接的に組み込まれる場合があると理解される。式1のVFはポンプチャンバ108の内体積を指し、VTはポンプチャンバ108、制御チャンバ110を含むシステムの体積と、測定流体入口ライン130およびシリンダ128に含まれる体積との既知の合計を指す。
Claims (23)
- コントローラを含む透析ユニットを作動する方法であって、
前記透析ユニットの血流回路内にエアトラップおよび血液ポンプを設けるステップであって、前記エアトラップは、容器を有し、該容器は、前記容器の頂部に配置された入口ポートと、前記容器の底部にある出口ポートとを有し、前記エアトラップは、前記入口ポートから前記出口ポートに流れる流体から空気を除去するように構成されている、前記エアトラップを設けるステップと、
流体が前記容器の前記入口ポートから前記出口ポートに流れるように、前記エアトラップの前記入口ポートを介して前記容器内に流体を導入するように前記コントローラによって前記血液ポンプを制御するステップと、
前記エアトラップ内を流れる流体から空気を除去し、前記エアトラップ内で空気を捕捉するステップと、
前記エアトラップの前記出口ポートから前記入口ポートへの流体の流れを生じさせて、捕捉された空気を前記容器から除去するように前記コントローラによって前記血液ポンプを制御するステップと、を含む、方法。 - 流体を導入するように前記コントローラによって前記血液ポンプを制御する前記ステップは、流体が前記入口ポートから前記出口ポートへ前記容器の内壁に沿って流れるようにすることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記容器は、略球形または回転楕円体形の内壁を有し、流体を導入するように前記コントローラによって前記血液ポンプを制御する前記ステップは、前記容器の略球形または回転楕円体形の内壁にほぼ接する方向に流体を前記容器内に導入することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体を導入するように前記コントローラによって前記血液ポンプを制御する前記ステップは、前記容器の縦軸に略垂直な方向に流体を前記容器内に導入することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 流体を導入するように前記コントローラによって前記血液ポンプを制御する前記ステップは、流体を前記容器内に螺旋状に循環させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記エアトラップの前記出口ポートから前記入口ポートへの流体の流れを生じさせるように前記コントローラによって前記血液ポンプを制御する前記ステップは、前記血流回路の透析器への流体の流れを生じさせることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記血液ポンプの出口は、透析器に流体接続され、前記透析器は、前記血液ポンプによって前記血液ポンプの前記出口から圧送された流体が前記透析器および前記エアトラップを通過するように前記エアトラップの前記入口ポートに流体接続される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記血流回路は、前記血液ポンプの入口に流体接続された動脈ラインと、前記エアトラップの前記出口ポートに流体接続された静脈ラインとを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記血液ポンプの前記入口は、前記血液ポンプの前記出口の上方に配置され、前記エアトラップは、前記血液ポンプの前記出口の下方に配置される、請求項8に記載の方法。

前記入口を通って前記チャンバに入る流体が前記内壁に沿って前記出口に向かって流れるように前記入口が前記容器の縦軸から偏位しており、
前記エアトラップは、前記容器の前記上端において前記流体からの未溶解ガスを蓄積するように構成されており、
前記コントローラは、前記流体ポンプを制御して、流体を前記エアトラップの出口から入口に逆方向に圧送して、前記容器から蓄積されたガスを除去するように構成されている、透析システム。 - 前記容器は、略球形のシェルによって形成される、請求項10に記載の透析システム。
