Claims (35)
- 透析が行われるカートリッジを着脱可能に受け入れるようになっている装置であって、前記カートリッジに制御された温度及び流量で血液透析用の滅菌水を供給する手段を有し、血液透析治療の完了後に収容している残留水の滅菌状態が維持されるように動作可能であり、

- 前記水は、少なくとも85℃まで加熱されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の流体処理装置。
- 前記水を前記カートリッジへの供給前にほぼ人間の体温まで冷却する手段が設けられることを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の流体処理装置。
- 前記カートリッジがないときに前記水が前記滅菌水出口から流出するのを防止する弁手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の流体処理装置。
- 前記カートリッジを受け入れて保持するようになっており、少なくとも一方が他方に対して可動である2つのプラテンをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の流体処理装置。
- 前記プラテンは、前記カートリッジ内に具現される特徴を作動させる手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の流体処理装置。
- 前記滅菌水出口は、前記プラテンの一方に出口弁を備え、該出口弁は、第1の位置にあるときに、前記プラテンと面一の表面を呈して前記水が前記滅菌水出口から出流出するのを防止し、第2の位置にあるときに、前記滅菌水を通過させて前記カートリッジに入れる出口を前記プラテンの表面に形成することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の流体処理装置。
- 前記出口弁が前記第1の位置にあるとき、前記流体処理装置内の前記残留水が前記出口弁によって前記滅菌水出口から流出するのを防止されて前記流体処理装置内の閉ループで循環させられ、前記閉ループが前記水を滅菌する手段に前記水を通過させることにより、前記残留水の滅菌状態が維持されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の流体処理装置。
- 前記滅菌水出口は、前記プラテンの一方に位置付けられ、前記カートリッジが前記プラテン間にないとき、前記プラテンは、前記水が前記滅菌水出口から出て前記プラテン及び前記水を滅菌する手段を通して前記流体処理装置内の閉ループで循環させられるように互いにシール係合することにより、前記残留水の滅菌状態が維持されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の流体処理装置。
- 患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置であって、
前記患者の血液循環系にチューブ接続することによって接続可能である、透析が行われるカートリッジと、
前記カートリッジが着脱自在なように接続可能であり、制御された温度及び流量で血液透析用の滅菌水を前記カートリッジに供給する装置であって、血液透析治療の完了後に収容している残留水の滅菌状態が維持されるように動作可能である装置と
を備え、
前記装置は、給水源から水を受け取る水入口と、前記カートリッジに取り付けられる滅菌水出口とを有し、前記水が前記水入口から前記滅菌水出口へ流れるときに前記水を滅菌する手段が設けられ、
前記装置が前記患者の血液の血液透析を実施していないときに前記残留水を閉ループ回路で前記水を滅菌する手段を通して再循環させる手段が設けられることで、前記残留水の滅菌状態が維持されることを特徴とする患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。 - 前記水を滅菌する手段は、少なくとも前記水中の微生物及び細菌を死滅させる高温まで前記水を加熱する手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記装置が前記患者の血液の血液透析を実施していないとき、前記残留水を高温で前記閉ループ回路を循環させることにより前記残留水の滅菌状態が維持されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記水は、少なくとも85℃まで加熱されることを特徴とする請求項12又は13に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記水を加熱して滅菌した後で、ほぼ人間の体温まで前記水を冷却する手段が設けられることを特徴とする請求項12から14のいずれか1項に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記水は、前記装置内でほぼ人間の体温まで冷却された後で、前記滅菌水出口を経て前記装置から流出することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記水は、高温で前記滅菌水出口から出て、前記カートリッジ内でほぼ人間の体温まで冷却されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記カートリッジが前記装置から分離されると、前記装置内の前記残留水が弁手段によって前記滅菌水出口から流出するのを防止されて前記装置内の閉ループで循環させられ、前記閉ループが前記水を滅菌する手段に前記水を通過させることにより、前記残留水の滅菌状態が維持されることを特徴とする請求項11から17のいずれか1項に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記装置は、少なくとも一方が他方に対して可動であり、使用中に前記カートリッジを互いの間に保持する2つのプラテンをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項11から18のいずれか1項に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記カートリッジは、前記カートリッジ内の流体を制御するポンプ及び弁を備え、前記プラテンは、前記ポンプ及び前記弁を作動させる手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記滅菌水出口は、出口弁を備え、前記出口弁は、第1の位置にあるときに、前記プラテンと面一の表面を呈して水が前記滅菌水出口から流出するのを防止し、第2の位置にあるときに、前記滅菌水を通過させて前記カートリッジに入れる出口を前記プラテンの表面に形成することを特徴とする請求項19又は20に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記出口弁が前記第1の位置にあるとき、前記装置内の前記残留水が前記出口弁によって前記滅菌水出口から流出するのを防止されて前記装置内の閉ループで循環させられ、前記閉ループが前記水を滅菌する手段に前記水を通過させることにより、前記残留水の滅菌状態が維持されることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記滅菌水出口は、前記プラテンの一方に位置付けられ、前記カートリッジが前記装置に接続されていないとき、前記プラテンは、前記水が前記滅菌水出口から出て前記プラテン及び前記水を滅菌する手段を通して前記装置内の閉ループで循環させられるように互いにシール係合することにより、前記残留水の滅菌状態が維持されることを特徴とする請求項19又は20に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記プラテンは滅菌コネクタを備え、前記2つのプラテン間に前記カートリッジを挿入すると、前記滅菌コネクタは、前記カートリッジの縁とインタフェースすることを特徴とする請求項19又は20に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記透析が行われるカートリッジが治療ごとに前記装置から取り外されると、治療ごとの前記装置内の任意の残留水を前記閉ループ回路の一部として循環させる洗浄カートリッジが前記装置に挿入されることを特徴とする請求項11から22のいずれか1項に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記カートリッジは、加熱された水が前記滅菌コネクタを経て前記カートリッジに入り別のコネクタを経て前記装置に戻るように前記閉ループの一部を形成する内部通路を有することを特徴とする請求項25に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記洗浄カートリッジは、前記残留水を流し通して前記閉ループ回路内の任意の粒子又は汚染物質を除去するフィルタ要素を収容することを特徴とする請求項25又は26に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記洗浄カートリッジは、前記閉ループ回路を化学的及び/又は生物学的に滅菌するのに用いることができる洗浄流体又はタブレットを受け入れる手段を有することを特徴とする請求項25から27のいずれか1項に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記透析が行われるカートリッジは使い捨てであることを特徴とする請求項11から28のいずれか1項に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 血液、老廃物、又は透析を行うのに必要な化学薬品によって汚染される、血液透析プロセスに必要な機能要素の全てが、前記透析が行われるカートリッジ内に収容されることを特徴とする請求項11から29のいずれか1項に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記透析が行われるカートリッジに、前記装置の使い捨てではない部品のいずれとも接触することなく添加剤が前記カートリッジに直接供給されて前記滅菌水と混合されることにより透析液が形成されるようにする、流体添加剤供給源に接続するための少なくとも1つの接続手段が設けられることを特徴とする請求項11から30のいずれか1項に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記透析が行われるカートリッジに、前記滅菌水と混合されて前記透析液を形成するための流体添加剤が収容されることを特徴とする請求項11から31のいずれか1項に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記洗浄カートリッジは、水入口、水出口、及びこれらの間の流路を有し、装置着脱可能に接続されて前記装置の閉ループ滅菌回路の一部を形成するようになっていることを特徴とする請求項25に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記洗浄カートリッジは、残留水を流し通して前記閉ループ回路内の任意の粒子又は汚染物質を除去するフィルタ要素を収容することを特徴とする請求項33に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
- 前記洗浄カートリッジは、前記閉ループ回路を化学的及び/又は生物学的に滅菌するのに用いることができる洗浄流体又はタブレットを受け入れる手段を有することを特徴とする請求項33又は34に記載の患者の血液の血液透析を実施する装置。
