本発明のアクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレングラフト共重合体(又はABSグラフト共重合体)は、ゴム状重合体に芳香族ビニル化合物及びシアン化ビニル化合物がグラフトされた共重合体である。
ABS樹脂に耐熱性を与える一般的な方法としては、耐熱性に優れたα−メチルスチレン(α-Methylstyrene)系又はマレイミド(Maleimide)系単量体をABS重合過程で添加する方法と、前記耐熱性が優れた単量体が含まれた耐熱性共重合体をABS樹脂と混合する方法とがある。前記耐熱性に優れた共重合体は、通常、α−メチルスチレン系又はマレイミド系単量体をアクリロニトリルのようなビニルシアン化合物及び/又はスチレンのような芳香族ビニル化合物単量体と共重合又は三元共重合させて製造する。
本発明の耐熱性共重合体としてAMS系重合体は、下記式(2)で示されるAMSとアクリロニトリル(AN)の共重合体、又はAMS、アクリロニトリル(AN)及びスチレンの共重合体である。
本発明の耐熱樹脂としてPMI系重合体は、N−(置換)マレイミド、ビニル系単量体及び不飽和ジカルボン酸の共重合体であってもよい。
本発明は、ABS樹脂に、さらに重量平均分子量(Mw)が、100,000〜180,000である一般SAN樹脂を含み、マトリックスとして適用した耐熱ABS樹脂を用いる。
本発明の流動性補強マトリックスは、低分子量の芳香族ビニル化合物とシアン化ビニル化合物との共重合体である。
共重合体樹脂の製造方法は、乳化重合法、懸濁重合法、溶液重合法、塊状重合法、懸濁重合と塊状重合を共に使う方法、及び乳化重合と塊状重合を共に使う方法などが知らされている。
A.ABSグラフト共重合体
乳化重合で製造された製品名DP270(LG化学社製)を用いた。樹脂のブタジエン含量は60%であり、容積平均ゴム粒径は0.3μmであった。
B−1.AMS系耐熱共重合体
α−メチルスチレン(AMS)とアクリロニトリルで塊状重合製造された製品名100UH(LG化学社製)を用いた。
N−フェニルマレイミド(PMI)、スチレン及び無水マレイン酸で構成された製品名MS−NB(Denka社製)を用いた。
塊状重合で製造された製品名92HR(LG化学社製)を用いた。樹脂のアクリロニトリルの含量は27%であり、重量平均分子量(Mw)は130,000であった。
D−1.低分子SAN共重合体
懸濁重合で製造された製品名EMI−100(SUNNYFC社製)を用いており、重量平均分子量(Mw)は45,000であった。
懸濁重合で製造された製品名EMI−200(SUNNYFC社製)を用いており、重量平均分子量(Mw)は60,000であった。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)25重量部、(B−1)AMS耐熱樹脂(100UH、LG化学社製)60重量部及び(C)一般SAN樹脂(92HR、LG化学社製)15重量部で構成された耐熱ABS樹脂100重量部に対して、(D−2)低分子量SAN樹脂(EMI−200、SunnyFC社製)3重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)25重量部及び(B−1)AMS耐熱樹脂(100UH、LG化学社製)75重量部で構成された耐熱ABS樹脂100重量部に対して、(D−1)低分子量SAN樹脂(EMI−100、SunnyFC社製)3重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)25重量部及び(B−1)AMS耐熱樹脂(100UH、LG化学社製)75重量部で構成された耐熱ABS樹脂100重量部に対して、(D−1)低分子量SAN樹脂(EMI−100、SunnyFC社製)7重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)25重量部及び(B−1)AMS耐熱樹脂(100UH、LG化学社製)75重量部で構成された耐熱ABS樹脂100重量部に対して、(D−2)低分子量SAN樹脂(EMI−200、SunnyFC社製)3重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)25重量部及び(B−1)AMS耐熱樹脂(100UH、LG化学社製)75重量部で構成された耐熱ABS樹脂100重量部に対して、(D−2)低分子量SAN樹脂(EMI−200、SunnyFC社製)7重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)30重量部、(B−1)AMS耐熱樹脂(100UH、LG化学社製)50重量部及び(B−2)PMI耐熱樹脂(MS−NB、Denka社製)20重量部で構成された耐熱ABS樹脂100重量部に対して、(D−2)低分子量SAN樹脂(EMI−200、SunnyFC社製)3重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)30重量部、(B−2)PMI耐熱樹脂(MS−NB、Denka社製)35重量部及び(C)一般SAN樹脂(92HR、LG化学社製)35重量部で構成された耐熱ABS樹脂100重量部に対して、(D−2)低分子量SAN樹脂(EMI−200、SunnyFC社製)3重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)25重量部、(B−1)AMS耐熱樹脂(100UH、LG化学社製)60重量部及び(C)一般SAN樹脂(92HR、LG化学社製)15重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)25重量部及び(B−1)AMS耐熱樹脂(100UH、LG化学社製)75重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)30重量部、(B−1)AMS耐熱樹脂(100UH、LG化学社製)50重量部及び(B−2)PMI耐熱樹脂(MS−NB、Denka社製)20重量部で製造した。
前記で用意された共重合体、樹脂などを用いており、(A)ABSグラフト共重合体(DP270、LG化学社製)30重量部、(B−2)PMI耐熱樹脂(MS−NB、Denka社製)35重量部及び(C)一般SAN樹脂(92HR、LG化学社製)35重量部で製造した。
下記表2に、前記実施例1〜7及び比較例1〜4の組成物を二軸押出機(Twin-ScrewExtruder)で、240で混練した後、射出を通して測定用試片を作製し、流動指数(g/10分)、衝撃強度(kg・fcm/cm)及び熱変形温度(HDT)の物性を測定した結果を示した。
Claims (7)
- 耐熱アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン(Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene:ABS)樹脂;及び
重量平均分子量(Mw)が、10,000〜70,000であるスチレン−アクリロニトリル(Styrene-Acrylonitrile:SAN)樹脂;
を含み、
前記重量平均分子量(Mw)が、10,000〜70,000であるスチレン−アクリロニトリル(Styrene-Acrylonitrile:SAN)樹脂は、懸濁重合体であり、
前記耐熱アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン樹脂は、
ブタジエンゴム状重合体にアクリロニトリル及びスチレンがグラフトされた共重合体、及び
α−メチルスチレン(α-Methylstyrene:AMS)系耐熱樹脂を含む流動性が向上された熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 前記熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、耐熱アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン樹脂100重量部に対して、
重量平均分子量(Mw)が、10,000〜70,000であるスチレン−アクリロニトリル樹脂を0.5〜10重量部で含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の流動性が向上された熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 前記耐熱アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン樹脂は、N−フェニルマレイミド(N-PhenylMaleimide:PMI)系耐熱樹脂をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の流動性が向上された熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記耐熱アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン樹脂は、
重量平均分子量が、100,000〜180,000であるスチレン−アクリロニトリル樹脂をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の流動性が向上された熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 前記耐熱アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン樹脂は、
a)アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレングラフト共重合体15〜40重量%;
b−1)α−メチルスチレン系耐熱樹脂20〜85重量%;及び
c)重量平均分子量が、100,000〜180,000であるスチレン−アクリロニトリル樹脂0〜65重量%;
を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の流動性が向上された熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 前記耐熱アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン樹脂は、
a)アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレングラフト共重合体15〜40重量%;
b−1)α−メチルスチレン系耐熱樹脂20〜80重量%;
b−2)N−フェニルマレイミド系耐熱樹脂5〜40重量%;及び
c)重量平均分子量が、100,000〜180,000であるスチレン−アクリロニトリル樹脂0〜60重量%;
を含むことを特徴とする請求項3〜5のいずれか1項に記載の流動性が向上された熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物を成形した成形品。
