Description
車両のヘッドライトと車内に車両情報を表示する表示装置の制御を行うための車両用照明制御装置であって、
車外の照度を検出する照度検出手段と、
該照度検出手段によって検出された前記車外の照度に基づいて、前記ヘッドライトと前記表示装置の輝度を制御する照明制御手段と、を備え、
前記照明制御手段は、前記ヘッドライトを制御するヘッドライト制御部と、前記表示装置の輝度を制御する表示装置制御部とを有し、
前記ヘッドライト制御部と、前記表示装置制御部とにより、前記車外の照度が第1閾値より高いとき、前記ヘッドライトを消灯させるとともに前記表示装置の輝度を第1設定値とし、前記車外の照度が前記第1閾値よりも低く設定された第2閾値よりも高く、第1閾値以下のとき、前記ヘッドライトを点灯させるとともに前記表示装置の輝度を第1設定値とし、前記車外の照度が第2閾値以下のとき、前記ヘッドライトを点灯させるとともに前記表示装置の輝度を前記第1設定値よりも低い第2設定値まで低減することを特徴とする。
前記車両は、車内の操作スイッチを照らすスイッチ照明部を備え、
前記照明制御手段は、前記車外の照度が前記第1閾値より大きいとき、前記スイッチ照明部を消灯させ、前記車外の照度が前記第1閾値以下のとき、前記スイッチ照明部を点灯させるスイッチ照明部制御部を有する
ことを特徴とする。
前記車両は、前記ヘッドライトを消灯状態、オートライト状態又は点灯状態のいずれか一つの状態に切り換えるためのライトスイッチを備え、
前記表示装置制御部は、前記ライトスイッチによって前記ヘッドライトが点灯状態又はオートライト状態に設定されたときに、前記車外の照度に応じて前記表示装置の輝度を制御する
ことを特徴とする。
図1は、本実施形態に係る照明制御装置10が搭載された車両1を示す模式図である。図1に示すように、車両1は、その左右両前端部にヘッドライト11が装備されている。車両1のフロントガラスの上部には、車両の周囲の明るさ、すなわち車外の照度を検出する照度センサ21が取り付けられている。また、車内のハンドルの近傍には、OFF、オートライト又はONのいずれか一つのライトスイッチ位置に運転者が手動で切り換えるためのライトスイッチ22が設けられている。
次に、図5から図7を参照しながら、照明制御装置10のECU100による各種照明の制御方法について説明する。

Claims (3)
- 車両のヘッドライトと車内に車両情報を表示する表示装置の制御を行うための車両用照明制御装置であって、
車外の照度を検出する照度検出手段と、
該照度検出手段によって検出された前記車外の照度に基づいて、前記ヘッドライトと前記表示装置の輝度を制御する照明制御手段と、を備え、
前記照明制御手段は、前記ヘッドライトを制御するヘッドライト制御部と、前記表示装置の輝度を制御する表示装置制御部とを有し、
前記ヘッドライト制御部と、前記表示装置制御部とにより、前記車外の照度が第1閾値より高いとき、前記ヘッドライトを消灯させるとともに前記表示装置の輝度を第1設定値とし、前記車外の照度が前記第1閾値よりも低く設定された第2閾値よりも高く、第1閾値以下のとき、前記ヘッドライトを点灯させるとともに前記表示装置の輝度を第1設定値とし、前記車外の照度が第2閾値以下のとき、前記ヘッドライトを点灯させるとともに前記表示装置の輝度を前記第1設定値よりも低い第2設定値まで低減することを特徴とする車両用照明制御装置。 - 前記車両は、車内の操作スイッチを照らすスイッチ照明部を備え、
前記照明制御手段は、前記車外の照度が前記第1閾値より大きいとき、前記スイッチ照明部を消灯させ、前記車外の照度が前記第1閾値以下のとき、前記スイッチ照明部を点灯させるスイッチ照明部制御部を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用照明制御装置。 - 前記車両は、前記ヘッドライトを消灯状態、オートライト状態又は点灯状態のいずれか一つの状態に切り換えるためのライトスイッチを備え、
前記表示装置制御部は、前記ライトスイッチによって前記ヘッドライトが点灯状態又はオートライト状態に設定されたときに、前記車外の照度に応じて前記表示装置の輝度を制御する
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用照明制御装置。
