共線図において順に並ぶ第4回転要素と第5回転要素と第6回転要素とを有し、前記第4回転要素に前記第1回転要素が連結され、前記第6回転要素に前記第2回転要素が連結された第2遊星歯車機構と、
前記第5回転要素に接続されたブレーキと、
前記第1モータおよび前記第2モータと電力のやりとりを行なうバッテリと、
を備えるハイブリッド自動車であって、
前記エンジンを運転しながら、前記エンジンの回転数を値0としたときに第1モータの回転数が許容回転数範囲の上限近傍の値として予め定められた値となる車速以上の高車速で走行している最中にイグニッションオフされた高車速イグニッションオフ時には、前記第5回転要素が回転停止状態となるように前記ブレーキをオンとする制御手段、
