Claims (4)
- イリジウム又はイリジウム含有合金からなる金属線材であって、
長手方向の任意の断面における結晶粒数が0.25mm2当たり2〜20個であり、
更に、任意の部分のビッカース硬度が200Hv以上400Hv未満である金属線材。 - 長手方向の任意の断面において、長手方向(x)と長手方向に垂直な方向(y)とのアスペクト比(x/y)が1.5以上となる結晶粒が0.25mm2当たり20個以下である請求項1記載の金属線材。
- イリジウム合金は、白金、ルテニウム、ロジウム、ニッケルの少なくともいずれかを合計で1〜50質量%含有するイリジウム合金である請求項1又は請求項2記載の金属線材。
- 請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の金属線材の製造方法であって、
底部にノズルを有する坩堝に収容された溶融状態のイリジウム又はイリジウム含有合金からなる原料である溶融金属に、育成結晶を坩堝底部から接触させ、
前記育成結晶を坩堝の下方に一定速度で引き下げて、前記ノズルにより、底部から通過する前記溶融金属を冷却して凝固金属とすると共に、前記凝固金属を拘束しつつ通過させて成形して線材とするμ−PD法による金属線材の製造方法であって、
前記溶融金属と前記凝固金属との固液界面が、前記ノズル上下方向の中央付近となるようにして育成結晶を引き下げる金属線材の製造方法。
