Description
内燃機関に用いられる公知の燃料噴射弁(ドイツ連邦共和国特許出願公開第19527049号明細書)では、弁開口と弁座とを有する弁座体が、管状の弁座支持体内にその自由端部に対して引っ込められて配置されていて、管状の弁座支持体と共に燃料噴射弁の弁室を画定している。弁座支持体内に挿入された、弁開口に流体の流れ方向で後置された噴霧装置は、シェル底部とシェル縁部とを備えたシェル状の噴射孔付きディスクを有している。シェル底部は、自由な弁座体の平らな自由端面に面状に載置されており、シェル縁部は弁座支持体に支持されている。シェル縁部に全周にわたって延びる溶接シームと、シェル底部に設けられた環状の溶接シームとによって、噴射孔付きディスクは、弁座支持体にも弁座体にも固く結合されている。シェル底部の、弁開口に合致する中央の範囲内には、4つの噴射孔が配置されている。これらの噴射孔は、弁開口に対して同軸的な円中心点を備えた1つの孔円上に配置されている。噴射孔は、放電加工または打抜き加工によって製作されていて、鉛直にまたは斜めにシェル底部を貫いて案内されていてよい。
請求項1の特徴を備えた本発明に係る弁は、噴射孔付きディスクに設けられた渦流形成室と渦流形成通路とによって、微細に噴霧されるスプレーとしての流体の噴射を保証する流体の渦流形成処理が達成されるという利点を有している。渦流形成通路の横断面積と孔横断面積との比および孔の幾何学形状を変えることによって、スプレー内に狭幅のかつ広幅の複数の個別噴流(スプレー液膜とも呼ばれる)が形成されるように、渦流を調整することができる。付加的には、噴流角と噴流形状とに影響が与えられてもよい。オット機関における吸気管噴射、尿素水溶液を内燃機関の排ガス内に調量して噴射するための、いわゆる「DNOXシステム」または加熱オイルバーナにおいて発生させられるような平均的な流体圧の場合、請求項1に記載した通路横断面積と孔横断面積との比の大きさによって、調量されて噴射される際の流体処理が、所望の小さな噴流角と高質の噴霧とに関して最適化される。渦流形成通路の横断面積寸法と噴射孔の横断面積寸法との前述した相互の調整によって、渦流形成室と噴射孔とを通過する場合に流体に付与される渦流強さが、小さな噴流角を得るために可能な限り小さくなると同時に高質の噴霧を達成するために必要な限り大きくなることが達成される。
Claims (16)
- 流れのある流体用の弁であって、
弁室(13)を閉鎖する、弁開口(14)が形成された弁座体(12)と、
該弁座体(12)に前記流体の流れ方向で後置された噴射孔付きディスク(18)と、を備え、
該噴射孔付きディスク(18)は、少なくとも1つの噴射孔(19)と、該噴射孔(19)に対して同心的な1つの渦流形成室(20)と、該渦流形成室(20)から弁開口(14)の下方にまで延びる少なくとも1つの渦流形成通路(21)とを有し、
渦流形成室(20)と渦流形成通路(21)とは、噴射孔付きディスク(18)の、弁座体(12)に向けられたディスク面に凹部として形成されている、流れのある流体用の弁において、
噴射孔(19)の孔横断面積に対する渦流形成通路(21)の通路横断面積の比が1.5以上であるように、渦流形成通路(21)の前記通路横断面積と噴射孔(19)の前記孔横断面積とが寸法設定されており、
渦流形成室(20)が、該渦流形成通路(21)の内部で凹状に形成されており、
渦流形成通路(21)は、弁開口(14)から離れる方向に延びる流入領域(211)と、渦流形成室(20)に開口する導入領域(212)とを有し、該導入領域(212)は、渦流形成室(20)に対応して、前記流体が渦流形成室(20)内に接線方向で流入するように配置されており、
渦流形成通路(21)は、少なくとも導入領域(212)に、渦流形成室(20)の壁に接線方向で案内された外側の通路側壁と、該外側の通路側壁に向かい合って位置する内側の通路側壁とを有し、該内側の通路側壁は前記外側の通路側壁から、前記内側の通路側壁の仮想直線が噴射孔(19)を通って延びるような間隔を有することを特徴とする、流れのある流体用の弁。 - 渦流形成室(20)の室直径に対する軸方向の室深さの比が、下限値0.2〜上限値0.6の数値範囲によって規定されているように、渦流形成室(20)の前記室直径と前記軸方向の室深さとが寸法設定されている、請求項1記載の弁。
- 噴射孔(19)の孔直径に対する孔長さの比が、下限値0.2〜上限値0.6の数値範囲をカバーしているように、噴射孔(19)の前記孔長さと前記孔直径とが寸法設定されている、請求項1または2記載の弁。
- 弁座体(12)は、弁室(13)と反対の側の平らな外面(121)を有し、噴射孔付きディスク(18)は、弁座体(12)の外面(121)に直接接触している、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の弁。
- 噴射孔付きディスク(18)は、縁側で全周にわたって延びる、一体に成形された環状ウェブ(181)で弁座体(12)に被さっている、請求項4記載の弁。
- 弁座体(12)は、弁室(13)と反対の側の外面(121)を有し、噴射孔付きディスク(18)と外面(121)との間に補償ディスク(22)が配置されており、該補償ディスク(22)は、噴射孔付きディスク(18)に面接触する平らなディスク面と、弁開口(14)と同軸の中心孔(23)とを有する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の弁。
- 噴射孔付きディスク(18)は、0.15mm〜0.25mmの範囲内にあるディスク厚さを有する、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の弁。
- 渦流形成通路(21)の通路幅が、流入領域(211)では、前記流体の前記流れ方向に先細りにされていて、導入領域(212)では、少なくとも一定である、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の弁。
