bar))。酸素透過率(OTR)および水蒸気透過率(WVTR)の決定は、DIN53380第3部またはASTM F−1249に基づき行われる。酸素透過性は、23℃および相対湿度50%で測定される。水蒸気透過性は、37.5℃および相対湿度90%で決定される。結果は50μmのフィルム厚で規格化される。
本発明の感圧接着剤は、40g/m 2 ・d未満、好ましくは10g/m 2 ・d未満、ことのほか好ましくは1g/m 2 ・d未満のWVTRを有すること、および/または感圧接着剤は、5000g/m 2 ・d・bar未満、好ましくは3000g/m 2 ・d・bar未満のOTRを有する。
・可塑剤、例えば軟化オイル、または低分子ポリブテンなどの低分子液体ポリマー
・一次酸化防止剤、例えば立体障害フェノール
・二次酸化防止剤、例えば亜リン酸塩またはチオエーテル
・プロセス安定化剤、例えばC−ラジカルスカベンジャー
・光保護剤、例えばUV吸収剤または立体障害アミン
加工助剤
・末端ブロック強化樹脂、ならびに
・場合によっては、好ましくはエラストマー性質のさらなるポリマー;相応に利用可能なエラストマーには、なかでも純粋な炭化水素をベースとしたエラストマー、例えば天然または合成で生成されたポリイソプレンまたはポリブタジエンのような不飽和ポリジエン、化学的に本質的に飽和状のエラストマー、例えば飽和エチレン−プロピレン−コポリマー、α−オレフィンコポリマー、ポリイソブチレン、ブチルゴム、エチレン−プロピレンゴム、ならびに化学的に官能化された炭化水素、例えばハロゲン含有の、アクリレート含有の、アリル―もしくはビニルエーテル含有のポリオレフィンが含まれる。
別の記載がない限り、以下の例における量の記載は全て、全体の組成に対する重量パーセントまたは重量割合である。
接着力
接着力の測定は以下のように実施した。すなわち、定義された被接着下地としてスチール面、ポリエチレンテレフタレートプレート(PET)、およびポリエチレンプレート(PE)を用いた。試験すべき貼り付き可能な平面要素を、幅20mmおよび長さ約25cmに裁断し、把持区間を設け、その後すぐに、それぞれ選択された被接着下地上に、4kgのスチールローラによって10m/minの送りで5回押し付けた。その後すぐ、このようにして貼り付けた平面要素を、引張試験機(Zwick社)を用いて180°の角度で、室温で、および300mm/minで被接着下地から剥ぎ取り、このために必要であった力を測定した。測定値(単位はN/cm)は、3回の個別の測定からの平均値として示した。
せん断寿命(SSZ)の測定は以下のように実施した。すなわち、定義された被接着下地として研磨したスチール面を用いた。試験すべき貼り付き可能な平面要素を、幅13mmおよび長さ約5cmに裁断し、その後すぐに、それぞれ選択された20×13mm2の面積の被接着下地上に、2kgのスチールローラによって10m/minの送りで4回押し付けた。その後すぐ、この貼り付き可能な平面要素に、23℃/相対湿度50%において、180°の角度で10Nの負荷をかけた。貼り付き可能な平面要素が被接着下地から完全に外れるまでの時間を測定する。測定値(単位はmin)は、3回の個別の測定からの中央値として示す。試験は10,000分後に打ち切られる。
弾性割合の測定は以下のように実施した。すなわち、定義された被接着下地として研磨したスチール面を用いた。試験すべき貼り付き可能な平面要素を、幅10mmおよび長さ約5cmに裁断し、その後すぐに、それぞれ選択された10×13mmの面積の被接着下地上に、2kgのスチールローラによって10m/minの送りで3回押し付けた。その後すぐ、この貼り付き可能な平面要素に、40℃の温度において、180°の角度で1Nおよび5Nの負荷をかけた。15分後の滑り距離を測定し、その後、試料を負荷から解放し、最初から30分後の滑り距離を測定する。両方の測定値の比が、接着剤の弾性割合および粘性割合に関する尺度である。測定値は、2回の個別の測定からの平均値として示す。
接着剤の透過率をVISスペクトルによって測定した。VISスペクトルの記録は、Kontron社のUVIKON923を用いて実施された。測定されるスペクトルの波長領域は、800nm〜400nmの間の全周波数を1nmの解像度で含んでいる。このために接着剤をPET支持体上に施し、かつ測定の前に、参照として支持体の空チャネル測定(Leerkanalmessung)を全ての波長領域について実施した。結果を提示するために、上記領域内での透過測定の平均値が求められた。
酸素透過率(OTR)および水蒸気透過率(WVTR)の測定は、DIN53380第3部またはASTM F−1249に基づいて行われた。このために感圧接着剤を50μmの層厚で、浸透可能な膜上に施した。酸素透過性に関しては23℃および50%の相対湿度で測定器Mocon OX−Tran2/21により測定された。水蒸気透過性は37.5℃および90%の相対湿度で測定された。
柔軟性を測定するために、層厚50μmの接着剤を、23μmの2つのPET支持体の間に塗布し、180°の曲りで1mmの曲げ半径を試験した。この試験は、層の破損または剥離が起きなければ合格である。
(光)電子構造物の耐用期間を測定するための尺度としてカルシウム試験を採用した。このために窒素雰囲気下で、20×20mm2の大きさの薄いカルシウム層をガラスプレート上に堆積させる。カルシウム層の厚みは約100nmである。カルシウム層をカプセル化するために、支持体材料としてのPETバリアフィルムを備えた接着テープを使用する(ASTM F−1249およびDIN53380第3部および上で挙げた条件に基づき、WVTR=8×10−2g/m2*dおよびOTR=6×10−2cm3/m2*d*bar)。接着テープは、全ての側の5mmの縁で直接的にガラス板上に付着させて、カルシウム面の上に適用される。
VOC値の測定はVDA277に基づいて行われる。この方法を用い、実験室規模の少量の試料に由来する気体状(易揮発性)炭化水素(VOC−Volative Organic Components)の合計を測定する。その際、試料(<1g)をガラス容器(10ml)内で5時間、120℃でコンディショニングする。続いて、ガスクロマトグラフ(GC)/フレームイオン化検出器(FID)の組合せにより、気密された容器からの規定量の気体空間を、その中に含まれる炭化水素について検査する。
ITOでコーティングされた、寸法2×2cm2で表面抵抗200OhmのPETフィルムを端部で接触させる。接触した端部から0.5cmの間隔をあけて、幅1cmの接着帯を面全体に施す。試料を60℃および湿度90%で保管し、14日後に抵抗を測定する。
例1〜例4での感圧接着剤を溶液から作製した。このために個々の成分をトルエン中に溶解し(固形分40%)、未処理のPETフィルム上にコーティングし、120℃で15分間乾燥し、これにより接着剤層が単位面積当り重量50g/m2で生じた。浸透試験のためにサンプルを同じやり方で調製したが、コーティングはPETフィルム上ではなく、1.5g/m2でシリコーン被覆された剥離紙上に行い、このため浸透可能な膜上に転写した後で、感圧接着剤だけに関する測定を行うことができた。
EHA78%、ステアリルアクリレート19%、およびアクリル酸3%で構成されるアクリレートをアセトンおよびベンジン中で重合し、この溶液から、未処理のPET支持体(または浸透測定用には、1.5g/m2でシリコーン被覆された剥離紙)上にコーティングし、120℃で15分間乾燥し、そしてポリマー分に対して0.2%のアルミニウムキレートで架橋した。接着層の厚さは50μmである。
Levamelt456(エチレンビニルアセテート)60%およびForal FG85 40%から成る混合物をアセトン中に溶かし、この溶液から、未処理のPET支持体(または浸透測定用には、1.5g/m2でシリコーン被覆された剥離紙)上にコーティングし、120℃で15分間乾燥する。接着層の厚さは50μmである。
市場で入手可能なシリコーン系感圧接着剤である、GE Bayer Silikons社のSilgrip PSA529を過酸化ベンゾイルと混合し、この溶液から、未処理のPET支持体(または浸透測定用には、1.5g/m2でフルオロシリコーン被覆された剥離紙)上にコーティングし、120℃で15分間乾燥し、架橋する。接着層の厚さは50μmである。
市場で入手可能なUV硬化型エポキシドのEpo−Tek OG142をPETフィルム上に50μmの厚さで薄く塗り、中圧−水銀ランプを用い160W/cm、10m/minの進行速度で硬化させた。浸透性を測定するためには、サンプルをシリコーン被覆された剥離紙上にコーティングし、剥ぎ取った。
上に挙げた例の接着技術上の評価をするために、まず接着力、せん断寿命(SSZ)、弾性割合、および柔軟性試験を実施した。
Claims (19)
- 浸透物に対する電子的装置のカプセル化方法であって、
ブチレンブロックコポリマーをベースとし、そしてスチレンから構成されたブロックを含む感圧接着剤を用意し、
その際、上記ブロックコポリマーがポリスチレン部分を10重量%〜35重量%の割合で有し、そして上記ブロックコポリマーの総割合に対するイソブチレンブロックコポリマーの割合が、少なくとも55重量%である;及び
上記感圧接着剤を、電子的装置のカプセル化すべき領域の上および/または周りに適用し、そして上記感圧接着剤は、40g/m2・d未満のWVTR(水蒸気透過率)を有すること、および/または感圧接着剤が、5000g/m2・d・bar未満のOTR(酸素透過率)を有し、そして感圧接着剤が、95℃超の軟化温度(環/球式)を有する樹脂を含む、上記方法。 - 前記感圧接着剤が、10g/m2・d未満のWVTRを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、1g/m2・d未満のWVTRを有する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、3000g/m2・d・bar未満のOTRを有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記ブチレンブロックコポリマーがイソブチレンブロックコポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、接着テープの形で提供される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載の方法に記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤および/または電子的装置のカプセル化すべき領域が、感圧接着剤の適用前、その最中、および/またはその適用後に加熱される、請求項1〜6のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、適用後に電子的装置上で架橋される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤の適用が、その適用の後の硬化なしで行われる、請求項1〜8のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記ブチレンブロックコポリマーがイソブチレンの重合、あるいはイソブチレンと、n−ブテンおよび/または1,3−ジエンとの組合せの重合によって構成されたポリマーブロックを含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、ブロックコポリマーを少なくとも20重量%の割合で有する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、少なくとも90%の水素化度を有する水素化樹脂を含む、請求項10〜11のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、30℃超のDACP値(ジアセトンアルコール曇り点)および50℃超のMMAP値(混合メチルシクロヘキサンアニリン点)を有する少なくとも一種の樹脂を含む、請求項10〜12のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が可塑剤、一次酸化防止剤、二次酸化防止剤、プロセス安定化剤、光保護剤、加工助剤、末端ブロック強化樹脂、ポリマーから成る群から選択される1種以上の添加剤を含む、請求項10〜13のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤がナノスケールの充填剤、透明な充填剤、および/またはゲッターおよび/またはスカベンジャー充填剤を含む、請求項10〜14のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が400nm〜800nmの波長領域において少なくとも75%の平均透過度を有する、請求項10〜15のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、320nm〜400nmの波長領域においてUVブロック性に形成され、その際、最大20%の平均透過度をUVブロック性と呼ぶ、請求項10〜16のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感圧接着剤が、支持体のない接着テープとして形成される、請求項10〜17のいずれか一つに記載の方法。

前記電子構造物が少なくとも部分的に感圧接着剤によってカプセル化されている電子的装置において、
前記感圧接着剤が、イソブチレンの重合、あるいはイソブチレンと、n−ブテンおよび/または1,3−ジエンとの組合せの重合によって構成されたポリマーブロックおよびスチレンから構成されたブロックを含み、そしてそのブロックコポリマーがポリスチレン部分を10重量%〜35重量%の割合で有し、そして上記ブロックコポリマーの総割合に対するイソブチレンブロックコポリマーの割合が、少なくとも55重量%である;
及び
その感圧接着剤が40g/m2・d未満のWVTR(水蒸気透過率)を有すること、および/または感圧接着剤が、5000g/m2・d・bar未満のOTR(酸素透過率)を
有し、そして感圧接着剤が、95℃超の軟化温度(環/球式)を有する樹脂を含む、上記電子的装置。
