(1) 圧着端子と、前記圧着端子が圧着された電線と、を備える圧着端子の電線に対する圧着構造であって、
前記圧着端子は、前記圧着端子の幅方向に沿う平面部を有する底板部と、前記底板部の前記幅方向の両側縁から上方に延長された一対の導体加締片と、を有する導体圧着部を備え、
前記一対の導体加締片が、一方の導体加締片が他方の導体加締片の上側に重なり且つ前記電線の導体を包み込んで内側に曲がるように、且つ、前記導体が前記底板部の上面に密着した状態となるように、前記電線の導体を圧着しており、
前記他方の導体加締片は、前記圧着端子の幅方向の中央部に位置する頂部付近にて内側に鋭角に折れ曲がった屈曲部を有し、
前記他方の導体加締片の前記屈曲部より先端側に位置する先端部が、前記幅方向における前記他方の導体加締片側の斜め下方向に向けて直線的に延びると共に、前記導体に突き刺さり、前記先端部の先端が前記圧着端子の幅方向の中央部より前記幅方向における前記他方の導体加締片側に位置している、
こと。
(2) 上記(1)に記載の圧着端子の電線に対する圧着構造であって、
前記電線が、前記導体としてアルミニウム製又はアルミニウム合金製の導体を有するアルミニウム電線である、
こと。
更に、上記(1)の構成の圧着端子の電線に対する圧着構造では、他方の導体加締片の先端部が、屈曲部において鋭角に折れ曲がった状態で導体に突き刺さっている。このような構成とすれば、他方の導体加締片の先端部を導体のより深くまで突き刺すことができ、他方の導体加締片と導体とを更に強固に接続することができる。
上記(2)の構成の圧着端子の電線に対する圧着構造では、アルミニウム製又はアルミニウム合金製の導体を有するアルミニウム電線に対して適用したので、銅製の導体に比べて強度や延性に劣るアルミニウム製又はアルミニウム合金製の導体を用いた場合であっても、導体加締片の開きを防止できる。

Claims (2)
- 圧着端子と、前記圧着端子が圧着された電線と、を備える圧着端子の電線に対する圧着構造であって、
前記圧着端子は、前記圧着端子の幅方向に沿う平面部を有する底板部と、前記底板部の前記幅方向の両側縁から上方に延長された一対の導体加締片と、を有する導体圧着部を備え、
前記一対の導体加締片が、一方の導体加締片が他方の導体加締片の上側に重なり且つ前記電線の導体を包み込んで内側に曲がるように、且つ、前記導体が前記底板部の上面に密着した状態となるように、前記電線の導体を圧着しており、
前記他方の導体加締片は、前記圧着端子の幅方向の中央部に位置する頂部付近にて内側に鋭角に折れ曲がった屈曲部を有し、
前記他方の導体加締片の前記屈曲部より先端側に位置する先端部が、前記幅方向における前記他方の導体加締片側の斜め下方向に向けて直線的に延びると共に、前記導体に突き刺さり、前記先端部の先端が前記圧着端子の幅方向の中央部より前記幅方向における前記他方の導体加締片側に位置している、
ことを特徴とする圧着端子の電線に対する圧着構造。 - 前記電線が、前記導体としてアルミニウム製又はアルミニウム合金製の導体を有するアルミニウム電線である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の圧着端子の電線に対する圧着構造。
