Description
図12を参照して、子機が受光量を計測するために実行する処理について説明する。図12においては、子機が種別「A」の光電センサユニット1であるときの一例について説明する。子機が種別「B」の光電センサユニット1である場合には、「時間DA0」および「時間DA1」の代わりに「時間DB0」および「時間DB1」が用いられ、「投光周期TFA」の代わりに「投光周期TFB」が用いられる点でのみ相違する。種別Aならびに種別Bとは異なる種別が用いられる場合も同様である。
今回開示された実施の形態は、すべての点で例示であって制限的なものではないと考えられるべきである。本発明の範囲は上記した説明ではなくて特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。
Claims (7)
- コネクタ手段を介して信号伝達可能に結合された複数のセンサユニットを有するセンサシステムであって、
各前記センサユニットは、各々の種別情報を保持するとともに、互いに信号伝達することにより各々に固有の識別番号を設定し、
各前記センサユニットは、前記複数のセンサユニットのうちの特定の識別番号を有するセンサユニットから所定の周期で発信される同期信号を起点として、各々の識別番号に応じて定められる遅延時間が経過してから動作し、
各前記センサユニットの遅延時間は、動作周期が前記種別情報毎に定められた所定の周期と一致し、かつ同一の種別情報を有する他のセンサユニットの遅延時間とは異なるように定められることを特徴とするセンサシステム。 - 前記遅延時間は、種別毎の動作順に所定時間ずつ長くなるように定められる、請求項1に記載のセンサシステム。
- 前記遅延時間が前記同期信号の発信周期よりも長い場合、前記遅延時間が短くされる、請求項1に記載のセンサシステム。
- 前記遅延時間が前記発信周期よりも長い場合、前記発信周期だけ前記遅延時間が短くされる、請求項3に記載のセンサシステム。
- 各種別の動作周期は、同一の種別情報を有するセンサユニットの遅延時間の総和よりも長い、請求項1に記載のセンサシステム。
- 前記センサユニットは、互いに隣接して配置され、前記コネクタ手段を介して隣接するもの同士で信号伝達可能に結合されている、請求項1に記載のセンサシステム。
- 前記コネクタ手段は、一対の投光素子と受光素子とからなる光コネクタであり、前記センサユニット内で前記受光素子の駆動回路が前記投光素子の駆動回路と電気的に接続されている、請求項1に記載のセンサシステム。
