Description
第1のクラッチ機構35及び第2のクラッチ機構39を切断すると、エンジン9からトランスミッション11を介してフロント・デファレンシャル装置13へ伝達された駆動力は、フロント側中間軸27、29、左右の前輪側車軸15、17を介して左右の前輪31、33へ伝達され、二輪駆動状態で走行可能となる。
図2は、走行モードを示す図表である。
[実施例1の効果]
本発明の実施例1では、エンジン9からトランスミッション11を介して前輪側車軸15、17へ駆動力を伝達する第1の駆動力伝達系機構3と、エンジン9から断続可能な噛合いクラッチによる第1のクラッチ機構35の接続によりプロペラ・シャフト37へ駆動力を伝達し多板クラッチによる第2のクラッチ機構39の接続によりプロペラ・シャフト37から後輪側車軸75、77へ駆動力を伝達する第2の駆動力伝達系機構5と、第1のクラッチ機構35と第2のクラッチ機構39との間で第2の駆動力伝達系機構5に介設された電動モータ7とを備えた。
自動車としては、四輪駆動車に限らず、前後輪を備えるものであれば、6輪、8輪なども含まれる。

Claims (3)
- 駆動源からトランスミッションを介して前輪側車軸又は後輪側車軸の一方へ駆動力を伝達する第1の駆動力伝達系機構と、
前記駆動源から第1のクラッチ機構の接続によりプロペラ・シャフトへ駆動力を伝達し第2のクラッチ機構の接続によりプロペラ・シャフトから前輪側車軸又は後輪側車軸の他方へ駆動力を伝達する第2の駆動力伝達系機構と、
前記第1のクラッチ機構と第2のクラッチ機構との間で前記第2の駆動力伝達系機構に介設された電動モータと、
前記第1又は第2のクラッチ機構を接続する前に、前記電動モータを予め前記第1又は第2のクラッチ機構が同期可能な回転数に駆動させる制御手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする自動車の駆動系装置。 - 請求項1記載の自動車の駆動系装置であって、
前記電動モータは、前記第2の駆動力伝達系機構にギヤ機構を介し又は直接介設された、
ことを特徴とする自動車の駆動系装置。 - 請求項1又は2記載の自動車の駆動系装置であって、
前記第1のクラッチ機構及び前記第2のクラッチ機構の何れか一方は噛合いクラッチであり、他方は多板クラッチである、
ことを特徴とする自動車の駆動系装置。
