Description
本願は2011年9月22日に出願した米国実用特許出願第13/240,834号の利益及び優先権を主張する。上記文献の全開示を参照により本明細書に取り込む。
1.発明の分野
本開示は多層パネル用ポリマーインターレイヤ及び少なくとも1層のポリマーインターレイヤシートを有する多層パネルの分野に関する。具体的には、本開示はエポキシ化植物油を含むポリマーインターレイヤの分野に関する。
一般に、多層ガラスパネルは2枚のガラスの間に挟まれたポリマーシート又はインターレイヤを含むラミネートを指す。ラミネート化多層ガラスパネルは、一般に、建築窓用途、自動車及び航空機の窓、及び、光起電力ソーラーパネルに利用される。最初の2つの用途は、一般に、ラミネート化安全ガラスと呼ばれている。ラミネート化安全ガラスにおけるインターレイヤの主な機能はガラスにかかる衝撃又は力から生じるエネルギーを吸収し、力が加わりそしてガラスが破損した場合でもガラス層を結合させておき、ガラスが鋭い片へと破壊するのを防止することである。さらに、インターレイヤは、一般に、ガラスにはるかに高い遮音等級を与え、UV及び/又はIR光透過率を低減し、関連する窓の美的魅力を高める。光起電用途に関しては、インターレイヤの主な機能は、商業及び住居用途で電力を発生しそして供給するために使用される光起電力ソーラーパネルをカプセル化することである。
当該技術分野におけるこれら及び他の問題点のために、とりわけ、ポリ(ビニルブチラール)樹脂を含み、そしてトリエチレングリコールジ−(2−エチルヘキサノエート)、トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−エチルブチレート)、トリエチレングリコールジヘプタノエート、テトラエチレングリコールジヘプタノエート、ジヘキシルアジペート、ジオクチルアジペート、ヘキシルシクロヘキシルアジペート、ジイソノニルアジペート、ヘプチルノニルアジペート及びジブチルセバケートからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の可塑剤ならびにエポキシ化植物油を含む混合物を含む、高流動性インターレイヤは本明細書中に記載される。インターレイヤは100部のポリ(ビニルブチラール)樹脂あたりに約15〜約100部の混合物を含む。
とりわけ、熱可塑性樹脂、エポキシ化植物油、及び、場合により、従来の可塑剤を含む、インターレイヤは本明細書に記載される。熱可塑性樹脂、エポキシ化植物(プラント)油、及び、場合により、従来の可塑剤の使用は、流動度の増加に典型的に関連する他の特性(例えば、ブロッキング及びクリープの増加、滲出、表面粗さ形成、機械的強度の低下、及び、製造能力の減少)を犠牲にすることなく、インターレイヤの流動度を増加させることができる相乗効果を形成する。この点について、エポキシ化植物油は流動性向上剤として作用し、高流動性インターレイヤをもたらす。その結果、得られた薄いインターレイヤが流動特性を改善しているので、多層パネルを形成する際に、より薄いインターレイヤを利用することができる。

Claims (13)
- ポリ(ビニルブチラール)樹脂、ならびに、
トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−エチルヘキサノエート)、トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−エチルブチレート)、トリエチレングリコールジヘプタノエート、テトラエチレングリコールジヘプタノエート、ジヘキシルアジペート、ジオクチルアジペート、ヘキシルシクロヘキシルアジペート、ジイソノニルアジペート、ヘプチルノニルアジペート及びジブチルセバケートからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の可塑剤、及び、
エポキシ化植物油、
を含む混合物、
を含む、高流動性インターレイヤであって、該インターレイヤは100部のポリ(ビニルブチラール)樹脂あたりに15〜100部の混合物を含み、かつ、熱機械分析装置によりDF135として測定される流動度が0.20mmより大きい、高流動性インターレイヤ。 - 前記混合物は100部のポリ(ビニルブチラール)樹脂あたりに10〜75部の前記群から選ばれる可塑剤を含む、請求項1記載の高流動性インターレイヤ。
- 前記混合物は100部のポリ(ビニルブチラール)樹脂あたりに25〜50部の前記群から選ばれる可塑剤を含む、請求項1または2記載の高流動性インターレイヤ。
- 前記混合物は100部のポリ(ビニルブチラール)樹脂あたりに5〜90部のエポキシ化植物油を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の高流動性インターレイヤ。
- 前記エポキシ化植物油はエポキシ化大豆油及びエポキシ化アマニ油からなる群より選ばれる、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の高流動性インターレイヤ。
- 前記インターレイヤは多層インターレイヤである、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の高流動性インターレイヤ。
- 少なくとも1つの剛性基材、及び、
請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の高流動性インターレイヤ、
を含む、多層パネル。 - 100部のポリ(ビニルブチラール)あたりに60〜100部のエポキシ化植物油を含み、10℃以下のガラス転移温度を有する、ポリ(ビニルブチラール)層を含む、インターレイヤであって、前記ポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は、
トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−エチルヘキサノエート)、トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−エチルブチレート)、トリエチレングリコールジヘプタノエート、テトラエチレングリコールジヘプタノエート、ジヘキシルアジペート、ジオクチルアジペート、ヘキシルシクロヘキシルアジペート、ジイソノニルアジペート、ヘプチルノニルアジペート及びジブチルセバケートからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の可塑剤をさらに含み、
前記ポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は100部のポリ(ビニルブチラール)あたりに合計総量で100部未満のエポキシ化植物油及び可塑剤を含む、インターレイヤ。 - 前記ポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は4℃以下のガラス転移温度を有する、請求項8記載のインターレイヤ。
- 第二のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層及び第三のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層をさらに含み、該第二のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層及び第三のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は25℃〜40℃のガラス転移温度を有し、第一のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は第二のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層と第三のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層との間に配置されている、請求項8または9記載のインターレイヤ。
- 100部のポリ(ビニルブチラール)あたりに2〜20部のエポキシ化植物油を含み、35℃以上のガラス転移温度を有する、ポリ(ビニルブチラール)層を含む、インターレイヤであって、前記ポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は、
トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−エチルヘキサノエート)、トリエチレングリコールジ−(2−エチルブチレート)、トリエチレングリコールジヘプタノエート、テトラエチレングリコールジヘプタノエート、ジヘキシルアジペート、ジオクチルアジペート、ヘキシルシクロヘキシルアジペート、ジイソノニルアジペート、ヘプチルノニルアジペート及びジブチルセバケートからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の可塑剤をさらに含み、
前記ポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は100部のポリ(ビニルブチラール)あたりに合計総量で50部以下のエポキシ化植物油及び可塑剤を含み、そして
該インターレイヤは、熱機械分析装置によりDF135として測定される流動度が0.20mmより大きい、インターレイヤ。 - 前記ポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は39℃以上のガラス転移温度を有する、請求項11記載のインターレイヤ。
- 第二のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層及び第三のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層をさらに含み、該第二のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層及び第三のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は20℃〜35℃のガラス転移温度を有し、第一のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層は第二のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層と第三のポリ(ビニルブチラール)層との間に配置されている、請求項11または12記載のインターレイヤ。
