Claims (2)
- ウェハよりオリエンテーションフラットを参照して、パターン中心を基準に連続パターンと回転角度原点を含む所定のパターンが形成され、外形が多角形状で該回転角度原点が該多角形状の辺のうち少なくとも1つの辺を基準に定められたロータリスケールを切り取る工程と、
前記切り取ったロータリスケールを、該ロータリスケールと共に回転するハブに設けた位置決め用の突起部に当接するように装着してロータリエンコーダを組み立てる工程とを備えるロータリエンコーダの製造方法であって、
前記ハブに圧入され、前記ロータリスケールのパターン中心と同軸で回転する回転軸と該突起部との位置関係を測定する工程と、前記測定した位置関係を参照して前記ウェハより前記ロータリスケールの外形の該突起部と当接する2辺の寸法を決定して切り取る工程と、
を備えることを特徴とするロータリエンコーダの製造方法。 - 前記回転軸の検出対象物が嵌合される側には、前記ロータリスケールの回転角度原点と回転位相決めされた溝が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1のロータリエンコーダの製造方法。
