Description
Claims (14)
- 強化中空糸膜を作成する方法であって、
a)ある長さとこの長さに対して垂直な円周とを有するコアを準備する工程と、
b)複数の複合ヤーンであって、各々が第1の部分及び第2の部分を含み、第1の部分が複合ヤーンの長さに沿って延びる1以上の概ね連続したフィラメントを含み、第2の部分が複合ヤーンの第1の部分から突き出ている複数のフィラメント端部又はループを含む複数の複合ヤーンを準備する工程と、
c)複数の複合ヤーンの第1の部分がコアの円周の周りに間隔をあけて配置され、概ねコアの長さに沿って並び、複数の複合ヤーンの第2の部分がコアの円周の一部分の周りに延び、複数の複合ヤーンの1以上の他の複合ヤーンの1以上のフィラメントと交差する強化用構造体をコアの周りに形成する工程と、
d)液体膜ドープを強化用構造体に適用する工程と、
e)液体膜ドープを処理して中実の膜を形成する工程と
を含む方法。 - 複数のヤーンの第1の部分がコアの円周の周りに間隔をあけて配置された後、複数のヤーンの第2の部分がコアの円周に沿って配向される、請求項1記載の方法。
- コアがマンドレルであって、コアの周りの隣接する複合ヤーン間の中心間距離及び複合ヤーンの第1の部分から第2の部分が突き出る距離が、複合ヤーンをマンドレル上に配置する際に隣接する複合ヤーンの第2の部分が互いに重なるようなものである、請求項1記載の方法。
- コアがマンドレルであり、工程c)中ヤーンがマンドレルの長さに沿って移動し、さらに、複数のヤーンをマンドレルから除去する工程を含む、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- マンドレルが1以上のセクションを含み、各セクションが概ね円筒状又は概ね円錐状の外面を有する、請求項4記載の方法。
- マンドレルが内部ボアを有し、さらに、マンドレルの内部ボアにボア流体を通す工程を含む、請求項4又は請求項5記載の方法。
- 工程d)が複数のヤーンに液体膜ドープを含浸させることを含む、請求項4乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 工程c)が複数のヤーンの第2の部分を空気紡糸又は真空紡糸することを含む、請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- さらに、工程c)の後に、複数のヤーンが交差する接触点で複数のヤーンを互いに接合する工程を含む、請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 複数のヤーンが二成分フィラメントを含み、二成分フィラメントが他のヤーンのフィラメントと接合するように適合させた部分を含む、請求項9記載の方法。
- さらに、工程d)の前に、複数のヤーンをならす工程を含む、請求項1乃至請求項10のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 複合ヤーンが複合ヤーンの一部分を延伸切断することによって作成される、請求項1乃至請求項11のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- コアが、中実の膜を溶解しない溶剤に可溶性である、請求項1乃至請求項3及び7〜12のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 中空糸膜であって、
a)選択的に透過可能な壁と、
b)壁に付着しており、膜の長さに沿って延びる複数の複合ヤーンと
を含んでなり、複合ヤーンの各々が第1の部分及び第2の部分を含み、第1の部分がヤーンの長さに沿って延びる1以上の概ね連続したフィラメントを含み、第2の部分が第1の部分から突き出た端部又はループを有するフィラメントを含み、
複数のヤーンの第2の部分が、壁の円周の一部分の周りに延び、複数の複合ヤーンの1以上の他のヤーンの1以上のフィラメントと交差する、中空糸膜。
