蛇腹部の山部が6つで構成されるとき、P2<P1≦P3<P4≦P5≦P6
ールド型などのボールを用いたタイプの固定式等速自在継手)や、外側継手部材の軸線方向にスライドする機構を備えたタイプ(例えば、ダブルオフセット型、トリポード型、クロスグルーブ型などの摺動式等速自在継手)など、あらゆる等速自在継手に使用するブーツに適用できる。特に、等速自在継手の作動角を大きく取ることのできるタイプに適用することがより効果的である。

Claims (10)
- 等速自在継手の外側継手部材に装着される大径部と、等速自在継手の内側継手部材に連結されたシャフトに装着される小径部と、大径部と小径部との間に配置される蛇腹部とを備えた、熱可塑性エラストマー材からなる等速自在継手用ブーツにおいて、
蛇腹部は、5個以上の山部と、この山部と軸方向に沿って交互に配設される5個以上の谷部とを備え、ブーツ縦断面における各山部の外径部をアール形状とするとともに、大径部と小径部との間の中央部に位置する1個又は2個の山部における外径部の曲率半径を、他の山部における外径部の曲率半径よりも1.3倍以上4倍未満として大きくし、
中央部の曲率半径の大きい山部の外径端を、この曲率半径の大きい山部に隣設する大径部側及び小径部側の山部の外径端を結ぶ直線よりも内径側に入るようにしたことを特徴とする等速自在継手用ブーツ。 - 中央部に位置する1個又は2個の山部を除いた、前記他の山部における外径部の曲率半径を同一としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
- 外径部の曲率半径が大である山部を2個として、この2個の山部における外径部の曲率半径を同一とするとともに、他の山部における外径部の曲率半径を同一としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
- 蛇腹部は奇数個の山部と奇数個の谷部とを備え、大径部と小径部との間の中央部に位置する1個の山部における外径部の曲率半径を、他の山部における外径部の曲率半径よりも大きくしたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
- 小径部に最も近い山部に隣接する山部における肉厚を、この山部に隣接する谷部における肉厚と同一乃至薄く設定するとともに、他の山部における肉厚を、それぞれの山部に隣接する谷部における肉厚よりも厚くしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
- 小径部側から順に位置する山部の肉厚をP1、P2、P3・・・としたとき、以下の関係を満たすことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
蛇腹部の山部が5つで構成されるとき、P2<P1≦P3<P4≦P5
蛇腹部の山部が6つで構成されるとき、P2<P1≦P3<P4≦P5≦P6 - 谷部の断面形状をU字状とするとともに、山部と谷部とを連結する連結部が直線状であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
- JIS K6253に規定されるタイプDデュロメータによる硬さが35以上50以下である熱可塑性ポリエステル系エラストマーからなることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツ。
- 作動角の変位のみを許容し、かつ45deg以上の作動角をとることが可能な固定式等速自在継手であって、前記請求項1〜請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツを装着したことを特徴とする等速自在継手。
- 軸線方向の変位と作動角の変位とを許容する摺動式等速自在継手であって、前記請求項1〜請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の等速自在継手用ブーツを装着したことを特徴とする等速自在継手。
