また、周囲のガス濃度を検知するためのガスセンサ内部のガス濃度は、警報器本体の構造やガスセンサ構造、雑ガスを除去するために設けられているフィルタ構成などに影響を受けて、即時に周囲ガス濃度と同一とはならず、周囲ガス濃度に遅れて徐々に周囲ガス濃度に近づくことになる。従って、センサの駆動周期のみではなく、警報器の構造によるガス濃度の検出遅れも考慮して駆動周期を決定しなければならない。
Claims (2)
- 検知対象ガスのガス濃度に応じて電気的特性が変化するガスセンサの出力に基づいてガス漏れ検知する、電池を電源とする電池式ガス警報器であって、
任意の駆動周期でパルス通電することで前記ガスセンサを駆動する手段であって、通常時は第1の駆動周期で前記ガスセンサを駆動するセンサ駆動手段と、
該駆動時の前記ガスセンサの出力に基づいてガス濃度を算出するガス濃度算出手段と、
該算出したガス濃度が所定の第1閾値を超えたときに警報を行う警報手段と、
前記ガス濃度算出手段が算出したガス濃度が、前記第1閾値よりも低い閾値である第2閾値を超えたか否かを判定し、ガス濃度が該第2閾値を超えた場合には前記センサ駆動手段に前記第1の駆動周期よりも短い第2の駆動周期で前記ガスセンサを駆動させる駆動周期変更手段とを有し、
前記駆動周期変更手段は、前記算出したガス濃度が前記第1閾値を超える前に前記第2の駆動周期での前記ガスセンサの駆動回数が予め設定される所定回数に達した場合には、前記センサ駆動手段の駆動周期を前記第1の駆動周期に戻すことを特徴とする電池式ガス警報器。 - 前記駆動周期変更手段は、前記算出したガス濃度が前記第1閾値を超えた場合には、前記センサ駆動手段の駆動周期を前記第1の駆動周期に戻し、または前記算出したガス濃度が前記第1閾値を越えた場合であっても前記第2の駆動周期での前記ガスセンサの駆動回数が予め設定される所定回数に達するまでは前記第2の駆動周期での前記ガスセンサの駆動を行い、前記第2の駆動周期での前記ガスセンサの駆動回数が前記所定回数に達したら、前記センサ駆動手段の駆動周期を前記第1の駆動周期に戻すことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電池式ガス警報器。
