Description
第一、ガラスファイバーを織物状で製造する工程は簡単ではなく、特に、ホットプレス工法などを用いてフィルムを大型に製造する場合、フィルムのカールなどを誘発するため、工程が長くなり、その上複雑となって、生産コストを増大させる。
本発明に係る第1のフィルムは、ガラスファイバーを織物状で構成してガラスクロス100を製造し、製造されたガラスクロス100を、液状の第1の耐熱性樹脂に浸漬した後、液状の第1の耐熱性樹脂を硬化することにより完成される。
第1のフィルムの製造が終わると、第1のフィルムの両外側面に中間材120を塗布する。中間材120は、本発明の第2のフィルム200を第1のフィルムにラミネート加工するためのものであって、第1のフィルムと同様に、UV硬化または熱硬化性樹脂を使用する。
本発明にかかるフレキシブル基板の主要な技術的特徴のうちの1つは、低い熱膨張係数を有する第1のフィルムの場合、表面粗さが若干粗いという問題を補うために、前もって製造された第2のフィルム200を第1のフィルムとラミネートすることである。

Claims (16)
- 第1の樹脂の内部にガラスクロスが含浸された第1のフィルムと、前記第1のフィルムの少なくとも片面にラミネートされて、第2の樹脂からなる第2のフィルムと、を含んだフィルム複合構造で構成され、前記第1のフィルムを構成する前記第1の樹脂はガラス転移点が200℃以上の耐熱性樹脂であり、前記第2のフィルムは85%以上の透過率と、4.6以下のヘイズとを有し、前記第2の樹脂は200℃以上のガラス転移点を有する耐熱性樹脂であることを特徴とするディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記第1のフィルムと前記第2のフィルムとの間には、前記第1のフィルムの前記少なくとも片面に塗布され、前記第1のフィルムと前記第2のフィルムを粘着または接着する中間材をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記中間材は、前記第1の樹脂からなることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記第2のフィルムの膜厚は、前記第1のフィルムの膜厚よりも薄厚で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記第1の樹脂及び前記第2の樹脂の少なくとも一方は、ガラス転移点が200℃以上のポリスルホン、ポリエーテル、ポリエーテルイミド、及びポリアリレート(PAR)のうちから選択された少なくともいずれか1つからなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記第1の樹脂と前記第2の樹脂は、同一の物質で形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記第1のフィルムを構成する前記第1の樹脂と前記ガラスクロスとの屈折率の差は、±0.01以内であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記第2のフィルムは、超微粒セラミックス粉末を分散して含有していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記超微粒セラミックス粉末は、前記第2の樹脂と±0.01以内の屈折率差を有し、200nm以下の粒子サイズを有して、熱膨張係数が8ppm/℃以下であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記第1の樹脂及び前記第2の樹脂の少なくとも一方のUV安全性を向上するために、二酸化チタン(TiO2)微粒子が、前記第1の樹脂及び前記第2の樹脂の少なくとも一方の内部に分散して含有されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記ディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板は、全体の厚さが30〜200μmで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- 前記中間材は、0.5〜5μmの厚さで塗布されることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板。
- ディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板の製造方法であって、
ガラスファイバーを織物状に構成してガラスクロスを製造し、前記ガラスクロスをガラス転移点が200℃以上の第1の耐熱性樹脂に含浸して第1のフィルムを製造する第1ステップと、
ガラス転移点が200℃以上の第2の耐熱性樹脂を硬化させて構成した第2のフィルムを前もって製造し、前記前もって製造した前記第2のフィルムを、前記第1のフィルムの少なくとも片面にラミネートする第2ステップと、
を含むことを特徴とするディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板の製造方法。 - 前記第1ステップと前記第2ステップとの間に、前記第1のフィルムの前記少なくとも片面に、前記第1のフィルムと前記第2のフィルムを粘着または接着する中間材を塗布する第3ステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板の製造方法。
- 前記第2のフィルムは、前記中間材を紫外線(UV)硬化または熱硬化させて前記第1のフィルムの前記少なくとも片面にラミネートされることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板の製造方法。
- 前記第2のフィルムを前もって製造するステップにおいて、
前記第2のフィルムを構成する前記第2の耐熱性樹脂の内部に超微粒セラミックス粉末を含有させるステップをさらに有することを特徴とする請求項13に記載のディスプレイパネル用フレキシブル基板の製造方法。
