Description
本発明は、外科手術を行うための方法および装置に関し、詳細には、外科手術の際に視野を維持するための方法および装置に関する。
腹腔鏡手術の際に、1または複数の小さな切開部が腹部に形成され、トロカールがこのような切開部から挿入され、腹腔へのアクセスを可能にする通路が形成される。トロカールは、器官の上の腹壁を押し上げるためのガス注入を提供するのはもちろん、腹腔内に様々な器具や装置を挿入するために用いられる。このような処置の際に、内視鏡や腹腔鏡などのスコープ装置が、1つのトロカールの中に挿入され、外科医が、スコープ装置に接続された外部モニタの術野を観察することができるようにする。
本発明は、外科器具に流体が沈着するのを防止し、かつ/または外科器具から流体を除去するための方法および装置を提供する。一実施形態では、側壁が遠位側に延びている近位フランジを含むシールを有する、外科アクセス装置に用いるためのシール組立体を提供する。この側壁は、器具が貫通して配置された時の開位置と、器具が貫通して配置されていない時の密閉された閉位置との間で選択的に移動可能である。流体リムーバは、シールの遠位端部に近接して位置付けることができ、シールを通過する外科器具から流体を除去するように構成することができる。流体リムーバは、様々な構造を有することができ、一実施形態では、流体を吸収するための吸収要素、流体を擦り取るためのスクレーパ、および流体を移送する(wicking)ための移送要素のうちの1つまたは任意の組合せを含むことができる。

を含む、外科アクセス装置。 - 請求項1記載の外科アクセス装置において、
前記第1のシールは器具シールを含み、その器具シールは、それを貫通するよう形成された開口を有し、かつ貫通して配置された外科器具の周りにシールを形成するように構成されており、
前記第2のシールは、外科器具が貫通して配置されていない時にシールを形成するように構成されたゼロ密閉シールを含む、外科アクセス装置。 - 請求項1記載の外科アクセス装置において、
前記スクレーパは、外科器具が通過する際に、回転するように構成された第1および第2の回転部材を含む、外科アクセス装置。 - 請求項1記載の外科アクセス装置において、
前記第1および第2のシールの少なくとも一方は、実質的に円錐型であり、その近位側に配設されたプロテクタを含む、外科アクセス装置。 - 請求項4記載の外科アクセス装置において、
前記プロテクタならびに前記第1および第2のシールの少なくとも一方は、それぞれ、複数の層を含む、外科アクセス装置。 - 請求項1記載の外科アクセス装置において、
前記スクレーパに近接して配設され、前記中心開口から移送された流体を吸収する吸収要素をさらに含む、外科アクセス装置。
