Description
R1、R2、およびR3は互いに同じであるか異なり、それぞれ独立に、水素原子、ヘテロ原子を含むことができる炭素数1〜30の1価炭化水素基を示し、R1、R2、およびR3のうちの少なくとも一つはエポキシ基であってもよく;R4は水素原子または炭素数1〜6のアルキル基を示す。
R 5 およびR 6 はそれぞれ独立に、水素原子または炭素数1〜6のアルキル基を示す。
a、b、およびcはモル比であり、0.1≦a≦30、30≦b≦95、0.1≦c≦40、
R1〜R 4 は前述した通りであり、R5およびR6は水素原子または炭素数1〜6のアルキル基である。
Aは第5族または第6族原子を示し;
Oは酸素原子を示し;
x、y、およびzはMおよびAの酸化状態によって決定される値であって、
x>0、y≧0、z>0である。
125mL反応装置にマレイン酸無水物(MAH)およびメチルメタクリレート(MMA)を投入した。次に、トルエンに溶かした開始剤AIBNを投入した。その次、反応器の温度を65℃までに上昇させ、18時間重合を施した。
125mL高圧反応装置を真空にした後、アルゴンを充填させた。前記アルゴン雰囲気の反応器にメチルメタクリレートとアルミナを投入した。次に、トルエンに溶かした開始剤AIBNを投入した。その次、35barのエチレンを充填させた後、反応器の温度を75℃までに上昇させ、18時間重合を施した。得られたエチレン−メチルメタクリレートランダム共重合体の水素核磁気共鳴スペクトル(1H−NMR spectrum)の結果を図1に示した。
アルミナの投入量を減らしたことを除いては、前記比較例2と同じ方法により重合した。
125ml Parr高圧反応装置を真空にした後、アルゴンを充填させた。アルゴン雰囲気の反応器にメチルメタクリレート(MMA)、マレイン酸無水物(MAH)、およびルイス酸としてアルミナを投入した。次に、トルエンに溶かした開始剤AIBNを投入した。その次、35barのエチレンを充填させた後、反応器の温度を65℃までに上昇させ、18時間重合を施した。
溶媒量を調節したことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法により重合を施した。
溶媒としてトルエン/THF=3(体積比)の混合溶媒を用いたことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法により重合を施した。
溶媒としてヘキサン/THF=3(体積比)の混合溶媒を用いたことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法により重合を施した。
溶媒としてテトラヒドロフラン(THF)を用い、溶媒量、温度、時間は同一の条件で金属酸化物の種類を異にして重合した。
前記実施例1〜7と同じ方法により重合するが、2種のアクリレートを用いて4元共重合した。第4の単量体はアルキルアクリレートあるいはエポキシ基が置換されたグリシジルメタクリレートを用いた。すなわち、単量体としてメチルメタクリレート、マレイン酸無水物、エチレン以外に、メチルアクリレート(MA)、エチルアクリレート(EA)、グリシジルメタクリレート(GMA)をそれぞれ投入して4元共重合した。前記実施例8〜11の詳細な重合条件および結果を表5および表6に示した。また、図7には実施例8で得られたエチレン−メチルメタクリレート−マレイン酸無水物−グリシジルメタクリレートランダム共重合体に対する走査熱量(DSC)グラフを示した。
Claims (10)
- 少なくとも1種のアルケン単量体0.1〜30モル%、少なくとも1種のアクリレート系単量体30〜95モル%、および少なくとも1種の不飽和酸無水物単量体0.1〜40モル%を金属酸化物とラジカル重合開始剤存在下で重合させて得られた共重合体であって、
前記共重合体のガラス転移温度(Tg)が、80〜220℃であり、
前記アクリレート系単量体が、以下の化学式1で表される化合物を含み、
R1、R2、およびR3は互いに同じであるか異なり、それぞれ独立に、水素原子またはヘテロ原子を含むことができる炭素数1〜30の1価炭化水素基を示し、R1、R2、およびR3のうちの少なくとも一つはエポキシ基であってもよく;R4は水素原子または炭素数1〜6のアルキル基を示す。]
前記金属酸化物が、以下の化学式4で表される化合物である。
Aは第5族または第6族原子を示し;

- 前記アルケン単量体は、1−アルケン、2−アルケン、および3−アルケンのうちから選択される少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 前記不飽和酸無水物単量体は1価カルボン酸無水物または多価カルボン酸無水物である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の共重合体。
- 少なくとも1種のアルケン単量体0.1〜30モル%、少なくとも1種のアクリレート系単量体30〜95モル%、および少なくとも1種の不飽和酸無水物単量体0.1〜40モル%を、金属酸化物の存在下で、200気圧以下の条件下で、ラジカル重合開始剤によって重合させて、ガラス転移温度(Tg)が、80〜220℃の共重合体を得るステップを含み、
前記アクリレート系単量体が、以下の化学式1で表される化合物を含み、
R1、R2、およびR3は互いに同じであるか異なり、それぞれ独立に、水素原子またはヘテロ原子を含むことができる炭素数1〜30の1価炭化水素基を示し、R1、R2、およびR3のうちの少なくとも一つはエポキシ基であってもよく;R4は水素原子または炭素数1〜6のアルキル基を示す。]

共重合体の製造方法。 - 前記金属酸化物は、前記アクリレート系共単量体を基準に0.01〜200モル%用いられる、請求項7に記載の共重合体の製造方法。
- 前記ラジカル重合開始剤は、前記アクリレート系単量体を基準に0.01〜1モル%範囲で添加される、請求項7または8に記載の共重合体の製造方法。
- 前記重合は、150℃以下の条件で行われる、請求項7〜9のいずれかに記載の共重合体の製造方法。
