Description
なお、融点の選択によるポリオレフィン系ワックスを使用する場合、従来のパラフィンワックス等の天然品由来のワックスでは困難であった50〜90℃の領域をカバーすることができるのでポリオレフィン系ワックスの実用的効果は大である。

Claims (7)
- スイッチング可動部材と、感温ペレット部材と、第1リード導出部および第2リード導出部からなる一対の導出リードと、金属外囲器とを具備し、前記スイッチング可動部材を前記感温ペレット部材の軟化または溶融に伴う形状変形により作動させて前記一対の導出リード間をカットオフ状態に切り替える温度ヒューズにおいて、前記感温ペレット部材は、ゲルパーミエイションクロマトグラフ(GPC)法により測定した重量平均分子量が1,000〜100,000(Mw)のポリオレフィン系ワックスと、100,000(Mw)を超えるポリオレフィン系樹脂との混合物であり、かつ、前記感温ペレット部材は動作温度を50〜180℃の範囲内に設定する融点を有し、前記ポリオレフィン系ワックスはポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、およびポリアルファオレフィンからなる群より選択されるポリマーであり、さらに、前記感温ペレット部材は、前記ポリオレフィン系ワックスの重量に対して、4倍量以下の重量の前記ポリオレフィン系樹脂を含むことを特徴とする感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ。
- 前記感温ペレット部材は酸化防止剤の添加物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系ワックスは、結晶性高級アルファオレフィン重合体と炭化水素系ワックスとの組成物からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系ワックスはJIS K 2207の測定法による針入度が10以下の硬度を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系ワックスおよび前記ポリオレフィン系樹脂は、互いに異なる融点を有し、その配合割合を動作温度の調整手段としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系ワックスは重量平均分子量が50,000(Mw)以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ。
- 前記感温ペレット部材は動作温度を90〜152℃に設定する融点を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ。
