Description
0 464 071から公知であり、ねじを回すことにより、またそれによって摩擦熱を生成することにより、板が変形される。この公知のねじは、穴研削部分として作用する鈍い末端部によって関連する板片と係合する、円錐形にテーパ状の穴形成部分を用い、それにより、迅速なねじ回転によって板片が加熱され、板片の材料が鈍い末端部に屈して、板片の両面で軸方向に延在するノズル状の通路を有する穴を形成する。
15がさらに板片から材料を変位して所望の態様の通路を形成する。
Claims (12)
- 板片に捩じ込むための穴形成およびねじ山形成ねじ(1)であって、
ツール収容用スロット付きヘッド(2)と、
ねじ山形成用の捩じ切られたシャンク(3)と、
円錐形にテーパ状の穴形成部分(4、9、13、17、20、21、22、31)とを含み、
穴形成部分(4、9、13、17、20、21、22、31)は丸められた鈍い先端部で終端し、
穴形成部分(4、9、13、17、20、21、22、31)に沿ってねじ山状に走りかつ板片の材料を切り屑なしに変位させる丸められたリブ(6、7、8、11、12、14、15)が、互いに向き合ってねじ軸に関して対称的に位置し、かつ捩じ切られたシャンク(3)のねじピッチの倍数であるピッチを有することを特徴とする、ねじ。 - リブ(6、7、8)は穴形成部分(4)の長さにわたって延在することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のねじ。
- リブ(11、12、14、15)は穴形成部分(9、13)の長さの一部にわたって延在することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のねじ。
- リブ(11、12)は穴形成部分(9)の先端部の領域にわたって実質的に延在することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のねじ。
- リブ(14、15)は捩じ切られたシャンク(3)に接続する穴形成部分(13)の後部の領域にわたって実質的に延在することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のねじ。
- リブ(6、7、8)は捩じ切られたシャンク(3)のねじのピッチ方向と一致するピッチ方向を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のねじ。
- リブ(18、19)が捩じ切られたシャンク(3)のねじのピッチ方向とは反対方向に配向されるピッチ方向を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のねじ。
- 穴形成部分(20、21)の先端部の領域のリブの数は、捩じ切られたシャンク(3)に接続する穴形成部分(20、21)の後部の領域のリブの数と異なることを特徴とする、請求項3から7のいずれかに記載のねじ。
- リブ(24、25;26;29)はそれぞれ、穴形成部分(22)に押圧された少なくとも1つの溝(23;27、28;30)の隣りに走り、この溝から押出されることを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載のねじ。
- 穴形成部分(31)は、外径が穴形成部分(31)の最大直径よりも0.35〜0.7倍小さい鈍い縁部(34)に囲まれた同軸のくぼみ(33)を含む末端部(32)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載のねじ。
- くぼみ(33)が長さ3mmより短いことを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のねじ。
- 穴形成部分(4、9)は丸められた鈍い末端部(5、10)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から11のいずれかに記載のねじ。
