Description
この第1の実施形態に係る誘電体磁器は、チタン酸バリウムを主成分として、これにマグネシウム、イットリウム、マンガンおよびルテチウムを含有するものであり、その含有量はバリウム1モルに対して、マグネシウムをMgO換算で0.01〜0.06モル、イットリウムをY2O3換算で0.0007〜0.03モル、マンガンをMnO換算で0.005〜0.03モル含有するとともに、前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、ルテチウムをLu2O3換算で3.6〜52.1質量部含有する。
ε25:25℃における比誘電率
ε125:125℃における比誘電率
次に、第1の実施形態の誘電体磁器の製法について説明する。先ず、素原料粉末として、純度がいずれも99%以上のBaCO3粉末とTiO2粉末、MgO粉末、Y2O3粉末および炭酸マンガン粉末を用いる。これらの素原料粉末を、チタン酸バリウムを構成するバリウム1モルに対して、MgOを0.01〜0.06モルの割合で、Y2O3を0.0007〜0.03モルの割合で、MnOを0.005〜0.03モルの割合で配合する。
<第2の実施形態>
本発明の第2の実施形態の誘電体磁器は、チタン酸バリウムを主成分とし、これにマグネシウム、イットリウム、マンガン、ルテチウム、珪素ならびにホウ素およびリチウムのうち少なくとも1種を含有するものである。その含有量はバリウム1モルに対して、マグネシウムをMgO換算で0.01〜0.06モル、イットリウムをY2O3換算で0.0007〜0.03モル、マンガンをMnO換算で0.005〜0.03モルの割合であり、また前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、ルテチウムをLu2O3換算で3.6〜52.1質量部、珪素をSiO2換算で0.73〜6.3質量部、ならびにホウ素およびリチウムのうち少なくとも1種をB2O3換算およびLi2O換算にて合計で0.31〜2.1質量部含有する。
誘電体磁器を以下のように作製した。まず、いずれも純度が99.9%のBaCO3粉末、TiO2粉末、MgO粉末、Y2O3粉末、炭酸マンガン粉末を用意し、表1に示す割合で調合し混合粉末を調製した。
<実施例II(第2の実施形態の一実施例)>
誘電体磁器を以下のように作製した。まず、いずれも純度が99.9%のBaCO3粉末、TiO2粉末、MgO粉末、Y2O3粉末、MnCO3粉末を用意し、表3に示す割合で調合し混合粉末を調製した。
<評価>
また、作製した誘電体磁器であるこれらの試料について、実施例Iと同様にして、比誘電率、比誘電率の温度係数、および分極電荷を求めた。また、試料の組成分析を前記実施例Iと同様にして行った。
<実施例III(第2の実施形態の他の実施例)>
誘電体磁器を以下のように作製した。まず、いずれも純度が99.9%のBaCO3粉末、TiO2粉末、MgO粉末、Y2O3粉末、MnCO3粉末を用意し、表6に示す割合で調合し混合粉末を調製した。
<評価>
また、作製した誘電体磁器であるこれらの試料について、実施例Iと同様にして、比誘電率、比誘電率の温度係数、および分極電荷を求めた。また、試料の組成分析を実施例Iと同様にして行った。
Claims (8)
- チタン酸バリウムを主成分とする結晶粒子と、該結晶粒子間に形成された粒界相とを有する誘電体磁器であって、前記チタン酸バリウムを構成するバリウム1モルに対して、
マグネシウムをMgO換算で0.01〜0.06モル、
イットリウムをY2O3換算で0.0007〜0.03モル、
マンガンをMnO換算で0.005〜0.03モル含有するとともに、
前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、ルテチウムをLu2O3換算で3.6〜52.1質量部含有し、
かつ前記結晶粒子の平均粒径が0.05〜0.2μmであり、室温(25℃)における比誘電率が215以上であることを特徴とする誘電体磁器。 - 前記チタン酸バリウムを構成するバリウム1モルに対して、
前記マグネシウムをMgO換算で0.017〜0.023モル、
前記イットリウムをY2O3換算で0.0015〜0.01モル、
前記マンガンをMnO換算で0.01〜0.013モル含有するとともに、
前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、
前記ルテチウムをLu2O3換算で6.3〜15.6質量部含有し、
かつ前記チタン酸バリウムを構成するバリウム1モルに対するチタン比が0.97〜0.98である請求項1に記載の誘電体磁器。 - 前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、
さらに珪素をSiO2換算で0.73〜6.3質量部、
ホウ素およびリチウムのうち少なくとも1種をB2O3換算およびLi2O換算にて合計で0.31〜2.1質量部含有する請求項1に記載の誘電体磁器。 - 前記チタン酸バリウムを構成するバリウム1モルに対して、
前記マグネシウムをMgO換算で0.017〜0.06モル、
前記イットリウムをY2O3換算で0.0015〜0.01モル、
前記マンガンをMnO換算で0.01〜0.03モル含有するとともに、
前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、前記ルテチウムをLu2O 3 換算で6.3〜15.6質量部、
前記珪素をSiO2換算で0.73〜3.13質量部、
前記ホウ素および前記リチウムのうち少なくとも1種をB2O3換算およびLi2O換算にて合計で0.31〜1.04質量部含有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の誘電体磁器。 - 誘電体層と導体層との積層体を含むコンデンサであって、
前記誘電体層を構成する誘電体磁器が、チタン酸バリウムを主成分とする結晶粒子と、該結晶粒子間に形成された粒界相とを有し、
前記チタン酸バリウムを構成するバリウム1モルに対して、
マグネシウムをMgO換算で0.01〜0.06モル、
イットリウムをY2O3換算で0.0007〜0.03モル、
マンガンをMnO換算で0.005〜0.03モル含有するとともに、
前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、
ルテチウムをLu2O3換算で3.6〜52.1質量部含有し、
かつ前記結晶粒子の平均粒径が0.05〜0.2μmであり、室温(25℃)における比誘電率が215以上であることを特徴とするコンデンサ。 - 前記チタン酸バリウムを構成するバリウム1モルに対して、
前記マグネシウムをMgO換算で0.017〜0.023モル、
前記イットリウムをY2O3換算で0.0015〜0.01モル、
前記マンガンをMnO換算で0.01〜0.013モル含有するとともに、
前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、
前記ルテチウムをLu2O3換算で6.3〜15.6質量部含有し、
かつ前記チタン酸バリウムを構成するバリウム1モルに対するチタン比が0.97〜0.98である請求項5に記載のコンデンサ。 - 前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、
さらに珪素をSiO2換算で0.73〜6.3質量部、
ホウ素およびリチウムのうち少なくとも1種をB2O3換算およびLi2O換算にて合計で0.31〜2.1質量部含有する請求項5に記載のコンデンサ。 - 前記チタン酸バリウムを構成するバリウム1モルに対して、
前記マグネシウムをMgO換算で0.017〜0.06モル、
前記イットリウムをY2O3換算で0.0015〜0.01モル、
前記マンガンをMnO換算で0.01〜0.03モル含有するとともに、
前記チタン酸バリウム100質量部に対して、前記ルテチウムをLu2O 3 換算で6.3〜15.6質量部、
前記珪素をSiO2換算で0.73〜3.13質量部、
前記ホウ素および前記リチウムのうち少なくとも1種をB2O3換算およびLi2O換算にて合計で0.31〜1.04質量部含有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のコンデンサ。
