Abstract
【解決手段】 チタン酸バリウムを主成分とする結晶粒子と、該結晶粒子間に形成された粒界相とを有する誘電体磁器であって、マグネシウム、イットリウム、マンガンおよびルテチウムを酸化物換算で所定の割合で含有するとともに、結晶粒子の平均粒径を0.05~0.2μmとすることにより、従来の強誘電性を有する誘電体磁器よりも比誘電率の温度変化率が小さく、また、従来の常誘電性を有する誘電体磁器に比較して高誘電率であり、かつ安定な比誘電率の温度特性を示すとともに、自発分極の小さい誘電体磁器を得ることができる。また、上記誘電体磁器を誘電体層として適用することにより、従来のコンデンサよりも高容量かつ容量温度特性の安定なコンデンサを形成できる。
