の製造方法に関する。
前記反応を、フッ素含有化合物を溶媒として行なうことを特徴とする、含フッ素アルキルスルホニルアミノエチル α−置換アクリレート類の製造方法。
[但し、式中のR1は水素原子、メチル基、エチル基、n−プロピル基、イソプロピル基、n−ブチル基、sec−ブチル基、tert−ブチル基、フルオロメチル基、ジフルオロメチル基、トリフルオロメチル基、またはパーフルオロエチル基であり、R2は炭素数1〜6の含フッ素アルキル基であり、Xn-は対陰イオン(ここでnは正の整数である)、Yはフッ素原子、塩素原子、または臭素原子である。]
[発明2]発明1において、前記フッ素含有化合物がトリフルオロメチル基を1個ないし複数個持つ化合物であることを特徴とする、発明1に記載の、含フッ素アルキルスルホニルアミノエチル α−置換アクリレート類の製造方法。
本反応が対象とする、一般式[3]で表される目的物の置換基R1は、水素原子、メチル基、エチル基、n−プロピル基、イソプロピル基、n−ブチル基、sec−ブチル基、tert−ブチル基、フルオロメチル基、ジフルオロメチル基、トリフルオロメチル基、またはパーフルオロエチル基である。
以下にその条件を述べるが、それぞれの反応装置において、当業者が容易に調節しうる程度の反応条件の変更を妨げるものではない。
もう一方の原料に用いられる含フッ素アルキルスルホン酸フルオリドは、対応するアルキルスルホン酸フルオリドの電解フッ素化により得ることが可能である(「フッ素の化合物」、 76頁 (1979年, 講談社サイエンティフィック))。
原料として一般式[1a]で表される、フリーのアミノエチル α−置換アクリレートを用いる場合には、塩基が存在しなくても反応の進行は認められるが、収率を高めるためには、塩基の存在下、行うことが好ましい。
次に本発明の重要な構成要素である溶媒について説明する。本発明は、前記反応を、フッ素含有化合物を溶媒として行なうことを特徴とする。該フッ素含有化合物としては、フッ素系溶媒として一般的に認知されているものであれば特に限定されるものではないが、「トリフルオロメチル基を1個ないし複数個持つ化合物」は、入手も容易で、化合物としても安定であるため、好ましい。
0.05g未満では、フッ素含有化合物を溶媒として用いることによる反応性向上の効果が小さく、また、20gを超えると生産性の観点から経済的に好ましくない。
本反応を実施する際の反応温度に特別な制限があるわけではない。しかし、本発明は、「フッ素含有化合物を溶媒として用いることで、−30℃よりも高い温度で反応を行なった場合でも、高い収率で目的物を得られる」という点に利点がある。このことから、本発明における反応温度は、通常−25〜50℃であり、−20〜30℃が好ましく、−10℃〜室温(25℃)が特に好ましい。また反応の初期段階では−10℃〜 20℃に制御することが特に好ましい。
本反応を行う反応器は、四フッ化エチレン樹脂、クロロトリフルオロエチレン樹脂、フッ化ビニリデン樹脂、PFA樹脂、ガラスなどを内部にライニングしたもの、グラス容器、もしくはステンレスで製作したものが好ましい。
本発明を実施する方法は限定されるものではないが、望ましい態様の一例につき、詳細を述べる。
以下、実施例により本発明を詳細に説明するがこれらの実施態様に限られない。
ここで、組成分析値の「%」とは、反応混合物または生成物の一部を採取して、有機成分をジイソプロピルエーテルにて溶解したものをガスクロマトグラフィーによって測定して得られた、溶媒成分を除く有機成分の「面積%」を表す。
温度計、還流冷却器、塩化カルシウム管を備えた2L(リットル)の三口フラスコにアセトニトリルを200g、1,1,2,2,3,3,4-ヘフ゜タフルオロシクロヘ゜ンタン(HFCPA)を200g、トリエチルアミンを134.7g(1.33mol)、2−アミノエチル 2−メチルアクリレート塩酸塩100.0g(0.6mol)を入れ攪拌しながら0℃に冷却した。
温度計、還流冷却器、塩化カルシウム管を備えた2Lの三口フラスコにHFCPAを300g、トリエチルアミンを134.7g(1.33mol)、2−アミノエチル 2−メチルアクリレート塩酸塩100.0g(0.6mol)を入れ、攪拌しながら0℃に冷却した。
温度、溶媒について表1に示した他は、実施例1と条件を合わせ、2−{[(トリフルオロメチル)スルホニル]アミノ}エチル 2−メチルアクリレートの合成を行なった。結果を表1に示す。
温度計、還流冷却器、塩化カルシウム管を備えた2Lの三口フラスコにアセトニトリル200gおよびジイソプロピルエーテル200g、トリエチルアミンを134.7g(1.33mol)、2−アミノエチル 2−メチルアクリレート塩酸塩100.0g(0.6mol)を入れ攪拌しながら0℃に冷却した。
温度計、ガス吹き込み管、攪拌装置を備えた1Lオートクレーブにアセトニトリルを100g、IPEを300g、トリエチルアミンを134.6g(1.33mol)、2−アミノエチル 2−メチルアクリレート塩酸塩100g(0.6mol)を入れ攪拌しながら0℃に冷却した。
温度計、還流冷却器、塩化カルシウム管を備えた1Lの三口フラスコにアセトニトリルを350g、トリエチルアミンを70.7g(0.699mol)、2−アミノエチル 2−メチルアクリレート塩酸塩33.1g(0.200mol)、重合禁止剤としてフェノチアジン0.2gを入れ攪拌しながら−30℃に冷却した。
温度計、還流冷却器、塩化カルシウム管を備えた1Lの三口フラスコにアセトニトリルを350g、トリエチルアミンを70.7g(0.699mol)、2−アミノエチル 2−メチルアクリレート塩酸塩33.1g(0.200mol)、フェノチアジン0.2gを入れ攪拌しながら−30℃に冷却した。内温が−30℃に達した後にトリフルオロメタンスルホン酸クロリド40.3(0.239mol)を一時間かけてスラリー中にガスで導入した。導入終了後、更に1時間攪拌を継続した後に室温まで昇温した。反応液より溶媒のアセトニトリル、未反応のトリフルオロメタンスルホン酸クロリドを減圧留去した。ジイソプロピルエーテル1Lを加え懸濁液とし、析出しているトリエチルアミン塩酸塩を濾別し、濾液を10%塩化ナトリウム水溶液200gで3回洗浄した。
溶媒として「塩化メチレン/アセトニトリル」混合溶媒(基質に対する量は各々200重量%)を採用した他は、比較例1と全く同じ条件(すなわち0℃〜室温)で反応を行なった。
Claims (6)
- 一般式[1a]で示されるアミノエチル α−置換アクリレート
を、一般式[2]で示される含フッ素アルキルスルホン酸フルオリド
と反応させるか、または、一般式[1b]で示されるアミノエチル α−置換アクリレートの塩
を、トリエチルアミンの存在下、一般式[2]で示される含フッ素アルキルスルホン酸フルオリドと反応させ、一般式[3]で表される含フッ素アルキルスルホニルアミノエチル α−置換アクリレート
を製造する方法であって、前記反応を、1,1,2,2,3,3,4-ヘプタフルオロシクロペンタン、トリフルオロメチルベンゼン、1,3-ビス(トリフルオロメチル)ベンゼン、1,4-ビス(トリフルオロメチル)ベンゼンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種のフッ素含有化合物を溶媒として行なうことを特徴とする、含フッ素アルキルスルホニルアミノエチル α−置換アクリレートの製造方法。
[但し、式中のR1は水素原子、メチル基、エチル基、n−プロピル基、イソプロピル基、n−ブチル基、sec−ブチル基、tert−ブチル基、フルオロメチル基、ジフルオロメチル基、トリフルオロメチル基、またはパーフルオロエチル基であり、R2は炭素数1〜6の含フッ素アルキル基であり、Xn-は対陰イオン(ここでnは正の整数である)。] - 前記反応の温度が−25℃〜50℃であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の、含フッ素アルキルスルホニルアミノエチル α−置換アクリレートの製造方法。
- 溶媒として用いる前記フッ素含有化合物の量が、アミノエチル α−置換アクリレートまたはアミノエチル α−置換アクリレート塩1gに対して、0.05〜20gである、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の含フッ素アルキルスルホニルアミノエチル α−置換アクリレートの製造方法。
- R1がメチル基、R2がトリフルオロメチル基であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至請求項3の何れかに記載の、含フッ素アルキルスルホニルアミノエチル α−置換アクリレートの製造方法。
- 溶媒として、前記フッ素含有化合物に加えて、「フッ素原子を含まない溶媒」をさらに共存させることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至請求項4の何れかに記載の、含フッ素アルキルスルホニルアミノエチル α−置換アクリレートの製造方法。
- 「フッ素原子を含まない溶媒」が、アセトニトリル、ベンゾニトリル、ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルアセトアミド、ジメチルイミダゾリジノン、ジメチルスルホキシド、ジエチルエーテル、ジイソプロピルエーテル、ジブチルエーテル、テトラヒドロフラン、トリエチルアミン、ピリジンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の化合物である、請求項5に記載の、含フッ素アルキルスルホニルアミノエチル α−置換アクリレートの製造方法。
