Description
本発明の目的は上記従来技術における課題を解決して、基板への実装にソケット構造を採用することによって、発光ユニットの交換コストを低減させると共に信頼性や、長期安定性を向上させた発光ユニットを提供することにある。
電気的な接続すると共に機械的に固定したものである。

Claims (3)
- 多角形の柱状支持材と、該柱状支持材の側面に配列されている複数の発光ダイオードと、前記柱状支持材の一端に設ける端子部と、該端子部に嵌合する中継部材とを備え、前記端子部は、その各側面のそれぞれに前記発光ダイオードのアノード電極及びカソード電極に接続されているアノード端子電極及びカソード端子電極を有し、前記中継部材は前記端子部の各側面のそれぞれに設けられたアノード端子電極及びカソード端子電極を各々共通接続して、2端子のアノード出力端子及びカソード出力端子とする配線電極パターンを有し、前記端子部の各側面のそれぞれに設けるアノード端子電極とカソード端子電極との前記柱状支持材の長手方向における距離が略等しい値に設定され、且つ前記柱状支持材の先端と前記端子部の各側面におけるアノード端子電極との距離が略等しい値に設定されており、前記中継部材は前記端子部が着脱自在に嵌合する凹部と、該凹部の内周に沿って形成する前記配線電極パターンとを有し、前記凹部に前記端子部を嵌合した状態において、前記配線電極パターンは、前記端子部に設けるアノード端子電極とカソード端子電極とのそれぞれに対応する位置に形成されていて、前記配線電極パターンは、並行して設ける帯状の一対の接続電極を有し、該一対の接続電極同士の互い距離が前記端子部に設けるアノード端子電極とカソード端子電極との前記柱状支持材の長手方向における距離と略等しい値に設定され、且つ前記中継部材の凹部の底面と該底面に近い方の接続電極との距離が前記柱状支持材の先端と端子部の各側面におけるアノード端子電極との距離と略等しい値に設定され、前記一対の接続電極は、該接続電極の内周面から内側に向かって突出する突起部を有し、前記凹部に前記端子部を嵌合した状態において、前記突起部が前記端子部に設けるアノード端子電極とカソード端子電極とのそれぞれに対応する位置に設けられ、前記中継部材と前記柱状支持材とを着脱自在に嵌合することによって前記複数の発光ダイオード端子を電源用に2端子化したことを特徴とする発光ユニット。
- 前記中継部材は前記凹部に対向する側から突出し、実装基板等に設ける挿入孔に着脱自在に嵌合する一対の差込端子を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光ユニット。
- 前記中継部材は電源等に接続されているソケットへの電気的な接続が可能な口金を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光ユニット。
