Description
前記基材フィルムは、前記転写層が形成される側の表面が、ISO4287で規定される粗さ曲線要素の平均長さRSmが50μm以下であり、かつ、二乗平均平方根粗さRqが30nm以下である表面粗さを有することを特徴とする、成形同時絵付け用転写フィルムを提供する。
転写層が形成される側の表面のRq値が14nmで、RSmが21μmである二軸延伸ポリエステルフィルムを基材フィルムとし、その面にPMMA樹脂からなる剥離層をグラビアコート法により形成し、その上に接着性インキを用いて図柄層をグラビア印刷法により形成して転写材を得た。なお、実施例において、Rq、RSmは共に日本ビーコ株式会社製の光干渉式表面粗さ計WYKO NT1100にて測定した。測定条件は測定倍率5.2倍で評価長さ1mm、短波長側のカットオフ値を2μm、長波長側のカットオフ値を1mmとした。なお、形状補正は、二次曲線でフィッティングすることにより行った。
転写層が形成される側の表面のRq値が32nmでRSmが69μmである二軸延伸ポリエステルフィルムを基材フィルムとし、その面に、メラミン系樹脂成分が26重量%で体質顔料を含まない塗工液をグラビアコート法によりコーティングして乾燥膜厚1.3μmの離型層を形成した。離型層の表面のRqは24nm、RSmは48μmであった。次いでPMMA樹脂からなる剥離層をグラビアコート法により形成し、その上に接着性インキを用いて図柄層をグラビア印刷法により形成して転写層を得た。なお、実施例においてRq、RSmは共に日本ビーコ株式会社製の光干渉式表面粗さ計WYKO NT1100にて測定した。その後、実施例1と同様の方法によりカバー部品を得た。
基材フィルムとしてRqが32nmでRSmが69μmであるものを用いた他は実施例1と同様にしてディスプレイ部分のカバー部品を得た。このようにして得た携帯電話のディスプレイ部分のカバー部品は、転写絵付けされた側の表面におけるRqが36nmでRSmが64μmであった。このカバー部品を画素密度180ppi、2.2インチの高精細TFT液晶パネルと組み合わせ、液晶ディスプレイのRGB点灯素子のうち、Gのみを点灯して表示画質を観察したところ、顕著なギラツキが観察され、カバー部品がない状態と比較すると著しく表示品質が悪いことが確認された。しかし、このカバー部品を画素密度117ppi、2.0インチのTFT液晶パネルと組み合わせ、液晶ディスプレイのRGB点灯素子のうち、Gのみを点灯して表示画質を観察しても、ギラツキはほとんどみられずカバー部品がない状態と遜色のないきれいな画質が観察された。

Claims (11)
- 2軸延伸により製膜されたポリエステルフィルムで構成された基材フィルムに転写層が形成され、表示デバイスを保護するカバーパーツを製造するための金型内に挿入された状態で溶融樹脂が射出されて前記カバーパーツの成形と絵付けを同時に行う成形同時絵付けに用いられる成形同時絵付け用転写フィルムにおいて、
前記基材フィルムは、前記転写層が形成される側の表面が、ISO4287で規定される粗さ曲線要素の平均長さRSmが50μm以下であり、かつ、二乗平均平方根粗さRqが30nm以下である表面粗さを有することを特徴とする、成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。 - 前記基材フィルムは、その内部に平均粒子径が5μm以下の滑剤を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
- 前記基材フィルムは、前記転写層が形成されない側の表面が、ISO4287で規定される粗さ曲線要素の平均長さRSmが50μm以下であり、かつ、二乗平均平方根粗さRqが10〜70nmである表面粗さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
- 前記基材フィルムの前記転写層が形成される側の表面に、乾燥膜厚が0.1〜2.0μmの離型コート層が形成されており、その表面がISO4287で規定される粗さ曲線要素の平均長さRSmが50μm以下であり、かつ、二乗平均平方根粗さRqが30nm以下である表面粗さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
- 前記基材フィルムは、前記転写層が形成されていない側の最表面側に位置する外側部は前記外側部より内側に位置する中間部よりも、オリゴマー含有量が少ない樹脂で構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
- 前記転写層は、前記基材フィルムに接触する側の面に5μm以下の粒子を含む剥離層を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれか1つに記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
- 離型性能を有するコーティング層を少なくとも前記基材フィルムの表面に備えており、前記コーティング層の表面が、ISO4287で規定される粗さ曲線要素の平均長さRSmが50μm以下であり、かつ、二乗平均平方根粗さRqが10〜70nmである表面粗さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか1つに記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
- 前記コーティング層は、前記基材フィルムの前記転写層が設けられていない側の表面に設けられており、かつ帯電防止性能を有することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
- 前記コーティング層は、熱乾燥又は熱あるいは活性エネルギー線を加えることにより硬化し、前記加熱により軟化する温度が60℃以上である樹脂により構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項7又は8に記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
- 前記コーティング層は、ワックス、フィラーのうち、1種又は2種以上を添加剤として含むことを特徴とする、請求項7から9のいずれか1つに記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
- 前記転写層の転写面表面は、ISO4287で規定される二乗平均平方根粗さRqが30nmから500nmである表面粗さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1から10のいずれか1つに記載の成形同時絵付け用転写フィルム。
