Claims (3)
- 車両に搭載され、自車両周辺の物体を検出する物体検出装置において、
前記自車両の目標状態を取得する自車両状態予測手段と、
前記物体を検出する検出手段と、
交通ルールを含む道路に関する情報を取得する道路情報取得手段と、
前記交通ルールを含む道路に関する情報と前記目標状態とに基づいて、前記自車両において可能性のある衝突形態のうち前記自車両が他車両の進路を干渉する可能性を判定する判定手段と、
前記自車両が他車両の進路を干渉する衝突形態か否かに基づいて、前記検出手段における前記物体の検出特性を切替える検出特性制御手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする物体検出装置。 - 前記検出特性制御手段は、検出率を調整することにより前記検出特性を切替える、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の物体検出装置。
- 前記検出特性制御手段は、前記自車両が他車両の進路を干渉する衝突形態と判定したとき、前記自車両が他車両の進路を干渉しない衝突形態であると判定したときよりも、前記検出手段における前記検出率が高くなるように前記検出特性を切替える、ことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の物体検出装置。
