Description
<ヤーンの物理的特性>
ASTM D885−02:標線間距離254cm、歪み率120%を用いた、テナシティおよび伸び率。自由収縮(負荷無し)を、30分間、177℃で測定した。試験方法D1907のオプション1を用いて、線密度(dtex)を測定した。
比引張強さは、切断時の伸びの平方根とテナシティとの積である。

静的通気性は、差圧125Paを用いて、ASTM D737−96に従って測定した。動的通気性は、ASTM D6476−02に従って測定した。
ポリエステルの3%オルトクロロフェノール溶液の相対粘度(RV)を、ウベローデ粘度計を用いて25℃で測定した。固有粘度(IV)は、以下の関係式から計算した。
RV=1+IV×C+0.305×IV2×C2+1.85×10-5×exp(4.5×IV)×C4
ここで、Cはgm/100mlでの溶液濃度である。
0.08%のTiO2を含むポリエステルポリマーを、従来のスピンドロー機を用いて紡ぎ、延伸して、0.89のヤーンIVを生じさせた。プロセス条件を表1に示す。
異なるフィラメント数および断面を有する高デシテックスのヤーン(720dtex)を、実施例1〜3と同様に作製した。アスペクト比とは、フィラメントの幅に対する縦の比である(円形断面は1.0のアスペクト比を有する)。矩形の紡糸口金を用いることで、楕円形断面が得られた。プロセス条件を表6に示す。
低デシテックスの円形断面ヤーン(70フィラメントで380dtex)を、実施例1〜3と同様に作製し、KoSaの市販のポリエステル工業用ヤーンT787およびT781と比較した。低デシテックスのヤーンは、サイドカーテン・エアバッグに用いられている。プロセス条件を表9に示す。
Claims (12)
- 少なくとも65cN/texのテナシティ、350から388の比引張強さ、200から800dtexの間の線密度、および177℃で6%未満の熱気収縮率を有するポリエステル・ヤーンから織られた、改良された、コーティングされていないポリエステルフィラメント平織物であり、少なくとも0.79N/g/m2のたて糸および/またはよこ糸タング引裂強さを有する織物。
- 150〜300g/m2の間の坪量を有する、請求項1に記載の織物。
- 前記織物の前記たて糸および/またはよこ糸フィラメントが、1.2を超えるアスペクト比を有する、請求項2に記載の織物。
- 前記アスペクト比が、1.2から6の間である、請求項3に記載の織物。
- 前記織物の前記よこ糸ヤーンが断面円形である、請求項2に記載の織物。
- 前記織物がコーティングされている、請求項2に記載の織物。
- 前記コーティングが、通気性を低くするように、クロロプレン、ネオプレン、ポリウレタン、シリコーンまたは他の有機コーティングから選択される、請求項6に記載の織物。
- 前記織物の前記たて糸および/またはよこ糸フィラメントが、1.2を超えるアスペクト比を有する、請求項6に記載の織物。
- 前記織物の前記よこ糸ヤーンが断面円形である、請求項8に記載の織物。
- 請求項1に記載のポリエステルフィラメント平織物からなる、コーティングされていないポリエステル・エアバッグ。
- 前記織物が150〜300g/m2の間の坪量を有する、請求項10に記載のポリエステル・エアバッグ。
- 前記織物が、非円形のヤーンから構成されている、請求項11に記載のポリエステル・エアバッグ。
