Claims (3)
- 一側壁に並列する複数本の吸気分配管(1)を備えると共に,これら吸気分配管(1)の配列方向に沿う一端壁に吸気入口管(3)を備え,内部には吸気入口管(3)と吸気分配管(1)との間を連通するサージ室(5)を備え,さらに吸気入口管(3)の,サージ室(5)への開口端から吸気分配管(1)の配列方向に延びてサージ室(5)の中間部に達していて,吸気入口管(3)からサージ室(5)に導入された空気を一旦,サージ室(5)の中央部まで誘導する吸気案内壁(6)を一体に備えるエンジン用吸気マニフォルドにおいて,
前記吸気案内壁(6)の,吸気入口管(3)の内面に連なる一側面を平滑面(6a)に形成する一方,吸気分配管(3)側の他側面(6b)に,該吸気案内壁(6)の高さ方向に延びる複数のリブ(7)を残して複数の肉抜き凹部(8)を設けたことを特徴とするエンジン用吸気マニフォルド。 - 請求項1記載のエンジン用吸気マニフォルドにおいて,
該吸気マニフォルド(M)を,少なくとも複数の吸気分配管(1)及びサージ室(5)の一半部(5A)を有する合成樹脂製の第1マニフォルド半体(MA)と,少なくともサージ室(5)の他半部(5B)を有する合成樹脂製の第2マニフォルド半体(MB)とを相互に溶着して構成し,前記吸気案内壁(6)の一半部(6A)を第1マニフォルド半体(MA)に,またその他半部(6B)を第2マニフォルド半体(MB)にそれぞれ一体に形成すると共に,この両半部(6A,6B)の対向する接合面(15A,15B)を相互に溶着したことを特徴とするエンジン用吸気マニフォルド。 - 請求項2記載のエンジン用吸気マニフォルドにおいて,
前記吸気案内壁(6)の前記一半部(6A)及び他半部(6B)の少なくとも一方に前記複数の肉抜き凹部(8)を,それらの端部が両半部(6A,6B)の接合面(15A,15B)の手前で終わるように形成したことを特徴とするエンジン用吸気マニフォルド。
