Claims (9)
- 車輪保持体(7)にある車輪軸受(8)の外レース(2)であって、外レース(2)が中空円筒状部分(2b)とこの中空円筒状部分(2b)から半径方向外方へ出る取付けフランジ(2c)とにより形成され、取付けフランジ(2c)が、凹な喉部(2d)の所で中空円筒状部分(2b)へ移行し、外レース(2)の縦断面において外レース(2)の回転軸線(11)に沿って見て、喉部(2d)が、第1の移行部(2n)で取付けフランジ(2c)の面(2p)へ移行し、また第2の移行部(2l)で中空円筒状部分(2b)の周面(2m)へ移行し、周面(2m)の仮想軸線方向延長部と第1の移行部(2n)との間の垂直な間隔(S)が、取付けフランジ(2c)の面(2p)の仮想半径延長部と第2の移行部(2l)との間の回転軸線(11)に対して平行な間隔(X)より小さいものにおいて、外レース(2)が、少なくとも部分的に、回転軸線(11)に対して少なくとも半径方向に、車輪保持体(7)内に支持され、外レース(2)の軸線方向端部に形成される取付けフランジ(2c)が軸線方向に車輪保持体(7)に当接し、車輪保持体(7)と喉部(2d)が少なくとも第1および第2の移行部(2l,2n)の所まで互いに離れているように、車輪保持体(7)が軸線方向に取付けフランジ(2c)に当接し、かつ半径方向に周面(2m)に当接し、外レース(2)が取付けフランジ(2c)と一体に冷間変形されていることを特徴とする、車輪軸受の外レース。
- 垂直な間隔(S)と平行な間隔(X)との比が1:1.5であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の外レース。
- 喉部(2d)が縦断面において複数の半径により描かれ、少なくとも第1の半径(r1)が、第1の移行部(2n)において半径方向に取付けフランジ(2c)へ移行し、少なくとも第2の半径(r2)が、第2の移行部(2l)において軸線方向に中空円筒状部分(2b)へ移行していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の外レース。
- 第1の半径(r1)と第2の半径(r2)が、取付けフランジ(2c)と中空円筒状部分(2b)との間で互いに移行していることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の外レース。
- 第1の半径(r1)が第2の半径(r2)より小さいことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の外レース。
- 第1の半径(r1)と第2の半径(r2)との比が少なくとも1:2.5であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の外レース。
- 少なくとも1つの取付け素子(14)が、車輪保持体(7)から軸線方向に遠い方にある取付けフランジ(2c)の側(2e)で、取付けフランジ(2c)に軸線方向に係合し、取付け素子(14)が取付けフランジ(2c)に軸線方向に固定して当接し、取付け素子(14)が車輪保持体(7)に固定していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の外レース。
- 取付け素子(14)が頭部(14a)を持つピンであり、ピンが頭部(14a)で軸線方向に取付けフランジ(2c)に当接し、軸線方向に取付けフランジ(2c)の切欠き(2f)を貫通して車輪保持体(7)に取付けられていることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の外レース。
- 切欠き(2f)が半径方向外方へ開いていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の外レース。
