Description
図1は本発明の実施の形態1における差動発振装置のブロック図である。なお、本実施の形態では、差動発振装置を間欠的に動作させた場合について説明する。図1に示す差動発振装置は、電流源スイッチ104、トランジスタ105、106及び共振回路109から構成される差動発振部103と、第一の制御信号発生回路101と、第二の制御信号発生回路102とから構成される。
図4に、本実施の形態による差動発振装置の構成図を示す。実施の形態1における図1と異なる部分は、第二の制御信号発生回路102の後段に、電圧電流変換回路401が設けられた点であり、電圧電流変換回路401の第二の制御信号発生回路102側の電位はV1よりも高く、電圧電流変換回路401は抵抗等で構成してもよく、トランジスタを使って電流源として構成してもよい。
図6は、本実施の形態の変調器の構成を示す図である。実施の形態1の差動発振装置に、更に送信信号発生回路601を付加することで変調器を構成できる。図7は、図6に示す差動発振装置を用いた変調器における送信信号、制御信号、及び出力信号のタイミングチャートを示したものである。以下、図6と図7を用いて本実施の形態における変調器の動作の説明をする。
図10に本実施の形態による変調器の構成を示す。本実施の形態は、差動発振装置の出力部分に出力選択スイッチ回路を付加した変調器を示す。図10に変調器のブロック図、図11に図10における波形の変化を示す。

Claims (2)
- パルス状の第1の制御信号を出力する第1の制御信号発生回路と、
前記第1の制御信号よりパルス幅が短く、所定の電位だけ高くした後にもとの電位に戻すように電位変動させる第2の制御信号を出力する第2の制御信号発生回路と、
前記第2の制御信号とパルス幅が略等しく、前記所定の電位だけ低くした後にもとの電位に戻すように電位変動させる第3の制御信号を出力する第3の制御信号発生回路と、
第1のトランジスタ、第2のトランジスタ、共振回路、および、前記第1のトランジスタのエミッタ端子またはソース端子と前記第2のトランジスタのエミッタ端子またはソース端子とに接続された電流源スイッチ部を有し、前記第1のトランジスタおよび前記第2のトランジスタが、ベース端子とエミッタ端子との間またはゲート端子とソース端子との間に順方向電圧程度のオフセット電圧を印加され、前記電流源スイッチ部が、前記第1の制御信号発生回路から出力された前記第1の制御信号を取得して間欠的に動作することにより、間欠的に発振する差動発振部と、
を備え、
前記第2の制御信号は、前記第2のトランジスタのベース端子またはゲート端子に、前記第1の制御信号が前記電流源スイッチに入力されるタイミングに同期して入力され、前記第2のトランジスタのベース端子とエミッタ端子との間の電圧またはゲート端子とソース端子との間の電圧を、前記オフセット電圧から前記所定の電位だけ高くした後に前記オフセット電圧に戻し、
前記第3の制御信号は、前記第3のトランジスタのベース端子またはゲート端子に、前記第1の制御信号が前記電流源スイッチに入力されるタイミングに同期して入力され、前記第3のトランジスタのベース端子とエミッタ端子との間の電圧またはゲート端子とソース端子との間の電圧を、前記オフセット電圧から前記所定の電位だけ低くした後に前記オフセット電圧に戻すことを特徴とする差動発振装置。 - 前記第二の制御信号および第三の制御信号は、前記差動発振部の回路定数に基づいて定まる発振周期の半分のパルス幅を有する請求項1に記載の差動発振装置。
