Description
[図2]本発明の複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法で使用される多関節ロボットの一例を示す側面図である。
[図3]本発明の複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法で使用される塗布ヘッドの部分拡大断面図である。
[図4]塗布ヘッドに接続されるスペーサ成形材料供給手段と1次シーリング剤供給手段を示す説明図である。
[図5]本発明の複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法を説明する平面図である。
[図6]塗布ヘッドの吐出口の向きを変更する好ましい方法を説明する部分平面図である。
[図7]本発明の複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法により形成されるスペーサを有する複層ガラスの他の例を示す断面図である。
Claims (6)
- 旋回及び回転可能な多関節ロボット(R)のアーム(11、12、13)の先端に、横方向に向いた吐出口(20)を有する塗布ヘッド(H)を取り付け、前記吐出口(20)から吐出されるスペーサ成形材料を、矩形状のガラス板(1)の上面の周縁部(1a)に沿って塗布する複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法であって、
前記ガラス板(1)の上面の周縁部(1a)における第1直線領域(a1)では、前記塗布ヘッド(H)を前記周縁部(1a)に沿って移動させながら前記吐出口(20)から前記スペーサ成形材料を吐出し、
前記塗布ヘッド(H)が前記第1直線領域(a1)に続く第1コーナー領域(b1)に達したときは、前記吐出口(20)からの前記スペーサ成形材料の吐出を停止すると共に、該第1直線領域(a1)と該第1コーナー領域(b1)に続く第2直線領域(a2)との交点(A)を過ぎる位置(B)まで、該第1直線領域(a1)での移動速度よりも遅い速度で該塗布ヘッド(H)をそのまま移動させ、
次いで前記塗布ヘッド(H)を回転させて前記吐出口(20)の向きを前記第2直線領域(a2)に前記スペーサ成形材料を塗布するのに適した方向に変更しつつ、該塗布ヘッド(H)を該第2直線領域(a2)に向けて該塗布ヘッド(H)の回転速度に対応する速度以下で移動させ、
前記塗布ヘッド(H)が前記第2直線領域(a2)に達したときは、前記吐出口(20)からの前記スペーサ成形材料の吐出を開始すると共に、該塗布ヘッド(H)を前記周縁部(1a)に沿って前記第1直線領域(a1)での移動速度と同じ速度で移動させることを特徴とする複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法。 - 前記交点(A)から前記位置(B)までの距離(m)を5mmにした請求項1に記載の複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法。
- 前記位置(B)と、前記吐出口(20)からのスペーサ成形材料の吐出を停止する位置(D)との間の距離(L1)を10mmとし、かつ該位置(B)と、該吐出口(20)からのスペーサ成形材料の吐出を開始する位置(E)との間の距離(L2)を10mmとした請求項1又は2に記載の複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法。
- 前記交点(A)から前記位置(B)へ移動する際に、前記塗布ヘッド(H)を回転させて前記吐出口(20)の前記ガラス板(1)の内側へ向けて傾く角度が1〜2°となるようにし、
かつ該吐出口(20)からのスペーサ成形材料の吐出を開始する位置(E)から20mm離れた位置(F)まで移動する際に、該塗布ヘッド(H)を回転させて該吐出口(20)の該ガラス板(1)の内側へ向けて傾く角度が5°から0°まで徐々に減少するようにした請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法。 - 前記吐出口(20)から前記スペーサ成形材料の上下に積層するように1次シーリング剤も吐出するようにした請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法。
- 前記スペーサ成形材料が乾燥剤を配合した熱可塑性材料からなる請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の複層ガラスのスペーサ形成方法。
