Description
また、線材の折り返しパターンの屈曲部が、常に多角形の外周側に突出するようになるので、この屈曲部が内周側に突出して血流等を妨げたりする虞れがなくなると共に、前記屈曲部が管状器官内壁に圧接されて固定力を高めることができる。

図2に示す、軸方向から見て多角形をなしたステント200を作製した。

Claims (3)
- 1本以上の線材を編み組んで、筒状に形成してなるステントにおいて、
このステントは、前記線材を周方向に沿って左右に折り返しながら進行させて、屈曲部と直線部とからなるループを形成し、このループが1周したら、前の周のループに対して半ピッチずれた位相にして、前の周のループと直線部において織りを形成しながら交差させて複数回周回させてなる周方向単位を有し、
前の周方向単位を形成するループの終端部を屈曲させずにそのまま直進させて、前の周方向単位に対して軸方向にほぼ半ピッチずれると共に、周方向に1/4ピッチずれた位置で、前記と同様にして次の周方向単位を形成することにより、前記周方向単位が軸方向に沿って複数設けられており、
前記各周方向単位どうしが重なる部分においては、一方の周方向単位の交差部を、他方の周方向単位の屈曲部が、ステントの外周側を通って亘るように編み組まれて構成されており、
前記各周方向単位は、軸方向から見て多角形をなし、前記各周方向単位の屈曲部は、前記多角形の角部に位置するように形成され、
前記屈曲部と屈曲部との間の線材は、直線若しくは前記多角形の辺より内周側に突出するように湾曲した形状をなすことを特徴とするステント。 - 前記線材は、外周に配置された超弾性合金と、その中心部に配置されたX線不透過性材料とで構成されている請求項1記載のステント。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のステントと、このステントの内周及び/又は外周を覆うグラフトとを有することを特徴とするステントグラフト。
