Description
吸気位相角検出手段により検出された吸気バルブ位相角、排気位相角検出手段により検出された排気バルブ位相角、及び、吸気リフト検出手段により検出された吸気バルブリフト量に基づいて、少なくとも吸気上死点以降における吸気バルブ及び排気バルブの開閉状態を検出し、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、シリンダ内の負圧を抑制する負圧抑制制御手段を備えている点にある。

Claims (12)
- バルブの作動タイミングを調節する油圧駆動式の可変バルブタイミング機構、及び、前記バルブの作用角を調節する電動モータ駆動式の可変作用角機構を備え、エンジン負荷に基づいて前記可変バルブタイミング機構または前記可変作用角機構を制御する可変バルブ制御手段を備えた可変バルブ制御装置であって、
吸気位相角検出手段により検出された吸気バルブ位相角、排気位相角検出手段により検出された排気バルブ位相角、及び、吸気リフト検出手段により検出された吸気バルブリフト量に基づいて、少なくとも吸気上死点以降における吸気バルブ及び排気バルブの開閉状態を検出し、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、シリンダ内の負圧を抑制する負圧抑制制御手段を備えている可変バルブ制御装置。 - 前記負圧抑制制御手段は、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、前記吸気バルブの作用角を増大制御する請求項1記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
- 前記負圧抑制制御手段は、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、前記排気バルブを遅角制御する請求項1または2記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
- 前記可変バルブ制御手段は、前記吸気バルブの進角値が、エンジンの負荷状態に基づいて予め設定された制御目標値マップで設定される制御目標値となるように、所定のフィードバック制御定数でPI制御し、
前記負圧抑制制御手段は、前記可変バルブ制御手段により前記吸気バルブが進角制御されるときに、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、前記可変バルブ制御手段による前記吸気バルブのフィードバック制御定数を増大補正する請求項1記載の可変バルブ制御装置。 - 前記負圧抑制制御手段は、前記可変バルブ制御手段により前記吸気バルブが進角且つ作用角縮小制御されるときに、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、前記可変バルブ制御手段による作用角縮小制御を停止させる請求項1または3記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
- 前記負圧抑制制御手段は、前記可変バルブ制御手段により前記吸気バルブが進角制御されるときに、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、前記可変バルブタイミング機構を作動させる圧油を昇圧する請求項1記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
- 前記可変バルブタイミング機構が、共通の油路を介して供給される圧油により前記吸気バルブと前記排気バルブを作動させる油圧機構を備えて構成され、前記負圧抑制制御手段は、前記可変バルブ制御手段により前記吸気バルブが進角制御されるときに、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、前記排気バルブ側への油路を閉塞する請求項6記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
- 前記負圧抑制制御手段が、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、前記可変バルブ制御手段によるバルブ制御にかかわらず前記吸気バルブを強制的に開放する強制開放手段で構成されている請求項1記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
- 前記負圧抑制制御手段が、双方のバルブが同時に閉塞すると判断されると、シリンダ内に強制的に空気を供給する圧力バルブで構成されている請求項1記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
- 前記負圧抑制制御手段によりシリンダ内の負圧が抑制されるとき、電子制御スロットルの開度を縮小制御するスロットル制御手段を備えている請求項2、5、8、9の何れかに記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
- 前記負圧抑制制御手段によりシリンダ内の負圧が抑制されるとき、点火タイミングを遅角させる点火タイミング制御手段を備えている請求項2、5、8、9、10の何れかに記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
- 前記負圧抑制制御手段によりシリンダ内の負圧が抑制されるとき、燃料噴射量を減少または停止する燃料噴射量制御手段を備えている請求項2、5、8、9,10、11の何れかに記載の可変バルブ制御装置。
