Description
Claims (18)
- 空気集合室モジュール(10)と、該空気集合室モジュールに着脱式連結方式によって連結される吸入ダクトモジュール(11)とを含み、前記着脱式連結方式は少なくとも1つの取外し可能な連結部と少なくとも1つの係止部からなる空気吸入装置において、
前記少なくとも1つの取外し可能な連結部はプラスチック製の前記空気集合室モジュールを貫通して挿入されて該空気集合室モジュールを前記吸入ダクトモジュールに固定する取外し可能なボルト(25)からなり、
前記集合室モジュールは気密に溶接された2つの半殻体(22)からなり、前記取り外し可能なボルトは該空気集合室モジュールを実質的に変形させないような補強部材を介して空気集合室モジュールを前記吸気ダクトモジュールに固定し、前記補強部材がスリーブ(26)であり前記空気集合室モジュールに挿入され前記ボルトが貫通するように構成され、
前記少なくとも1つの係止部(18)は前記空気集合室モジュールあるいは前記吸入ダクトモジュールのうちの一方に取り付けられるブラケット(31)と前記空気集合室モジュールあるいは前記吸入ダクトモジュールのうちの他方に取り付けられて前記ブラケットと確実に接触する対向部材(32)を含むことを特徴とする空気吸入装置。 - 前記スリーブ(26)は少なくとも2つの接触面で前記空気集合室モジュールに接触していることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記スリーブ(26)の2つの接触面は鍔部(29)と肩部(30)であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記スリーブ(26)は金属製であるであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記空気集合室モジュール(10)は熱可塑性プラスチック製であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記空気集合室モジュール(10)はポリアミド製であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの係止部(18)の対向部材(32)は前記空気集合室モジュールあるいは前記吸入ダクトモジュールのうちの他方のインサートホルダ(33)に確実に保持されるインサート(34)であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記インサート(34)は前記空気集合室モジュールあるいは前記吸入ダクトモジュールのうちの他方の材質よりも軟らかい金属製であって前記空気集合室モジュールあるいは前記吸入ダクトモジュールのうちの一方の材質よりも硬いことを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記インサート(34)は前記ブラケット(31)に接する2つの接触面を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第8項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記吸入ダクトモジュール(11)はシリンダヘッドフランジ(13)を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記空気集合室モジュール(10)と前記吸入ダクトモジュール(11)はそれぞれ異なる材質で作られていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記吸入ダクトモジュール(11)の材質は前記空気集合室モジュール(10)の材質よりも耐熱性が高いことを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記吸入ダクトモジュール(11)は金属製であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記吸入ダクトモジュール(11)はアルミニューム鋳造品で製作されたことを特徴とする請求の範囲第13項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 前記空気集合室モジュール(10)と前記吸入ダクトモジュール(11)間にガスケットが取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の空気吸入装置。
- 空気集合室モジュール(10)と吸入ダクトモジュール(11)を含む前記請求項1記載の空気吸入装置を自動車エンジンに装着する方法において、
前記空気集合室モジュールの材質よりも高い強度を有するスリーブ(26)を前記空気集合室モジュールに取付け、次に
前記吸入ダクトモジュールを前記エンジンに連結し、次に
前記空気集合室モジュールを前記と吸入ダクトモジュールに取り付けることを特徴とする空気吸入装置の装着方法。 - 前記スリーブは前記空気集合室モジュール形成の際に該空気集合室モジュールで囲むことで該空気集合室モジュールに設けられることを特徴とする請求項16記載の空気吸入装置の装着方法。
- 前記吸入ダクトモジュールのエンジンへの連結はフランジ(13)を有するマニフォールドをエンジンのシリンダヘッドに連結することを含むことを特徴とする請求項16記載の空気吸入装置の装着方法。
