ここで、aはBi2O3・nTiO2に対する(SrbCa1−b)TiO3のモル比、bはCaに対するSrのモル比、nはBi2O3に対するTiO2のモル比、x、y、zは前記主成分100重量部に対する各重量比、mは1〜2、LnはLa、Ce、Pr、Nd、Sm、Eu、Gd、Dy、Ho及びErから選択された1種以上の元素である。

上記誘電体磁器組成物が、このような成分組成を有することにより、誘電率が300以上の高誘電率とQ値が1000以上を確保しながら、−55℃〜85℃の温度範囲内での20℃の静電容量を基準とした温度係数を−2000ppm/℃以内に小さく抑制することができ、温度特性の直線性に優れ、しかも実用に耐え得る機械的強度を有した単板コンデンサを容易に得ることができる。
Bi2O3・nTiO2に対する(SrbCa1−b)TiO3のモル比aが0.88未満になるとBi2O3・nTiO2のモル比(1−a)が0.12を超える。すなわち、この場合、Bi2O3のモル量が多くなりすぎるため、Q値が1000未満となって高いQ値を有する誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができなくなる。一方、モル比aが0.92を超えるとBi2O3・nTiO2のモル量が0.08未満となり、温度係数が−2000ppm/℃よりも負側に偏位し、温度特性が悪化する。
Caに対するSrのモル比bが0.30未満になると、CaTiO3のモル量が多くなりすぎるため、誘電率が300未満に低下し、高誘電率の誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができなくなる。一方、モル比bが0.50を超えるとSrTiO3のモル量が多くなりすぎるため、Q値が1000以下となり、Q値の高い誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができなくなる。
TiO2のBi2O3に対するモル比nが1.8未満になると、TiO2の含有モル量が少なくなりすぎるため、誘電率が300未満となり、高誘電率の誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができなくなる。一方、前記モル比nが3.0を超えると、TiO2のモル量が多くなりすぎるため、Q値が1000未満となり、Q値の高い誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができない。
上記主成分(一般式(1))100重量部に対し、MgTiO3の重量比xが1.00未満になると、温度係数が−2000ppm/℃よりも負側に偏位し、温度特性が悪化する。一方、重量比xが3.0を超えると、誘電率が300未満となって高誘電率の誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができなくなる。
上記主成分(一般式(1))100重量部に対し、MnOm(但し、M=1〜2)の重量比yが0.1未満になると、温度係数が−2000ppm/℃よりも負側に偏位し、温度特性が悪化する。一方、重量比yが2.0を超えると誘電率が300未満となって高誘電率の誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができなくなる。
上記主成分(一般式(1))に対しLn2O3を副成分として添加することにより、温度特性及び抗折強度を向上させることができるが、上記主成分100重量部に対しLn2O3の重量比zが3.0を超えると、誘電率が300未満となって高誘電率の誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができなくなる。
Lnをランタノイド系列中のLa、Ce、Pr、Nd、Sm、Eu、Gd、Dy、Ho、Erの中から選択される特定元素に限定し、これら特定元素をLn2O3の形態で主成分100重量部に対する重量比zで、0<z≦3.0添加することにより、誘電率が300以上でQ値が1000以上、かつ温度係数を−2000ppm/℃以内に小さく抑制することができる誘電特性に優れた誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができ、しかも抗折強度が130MPa以上の機械的強度にも優れた誘電体磁器組成物を得ることができる。

ここで、wは主成分100重量部に対するSiO2の重量比であって、0<w≦1.0である。
2 電極部
Claims (4)
- a〔(SrbCa1−b)TiO3〕−(1−a)〔Bi2O3・nTiO2〕(a、bはモル比、nはBi2O3に対するTiO2のモル比を示す)を主成分とし、副成分として、xMgTiO3+yMnOm+zLn2O3(x、y、zは前記主成分100重量部に対する各重量比、mは1〜2、LnはLa、Ce、Pr、Nd、Sm、Eu、Gd、Dy、Ho及びErからなる群より選択された1種以上の元素を示す)を含有し、
前記モル比a、b、n、及び前記重量比x、y、zが、各々
0.88≦a≦0.92、
0.30≦b≦0.50、
1.8≦n≦3.0、
1.0≦x≦3.0、
0.1≦y≦2.0、
及び、
0<z≦3.0
であり、
さらに、Pb、Y、及びYbを含まないことを特徴とする誘電体磁器組成物。 - TiO2が前記副成分に含有されると共に、前記TiO2の含有量は、前記副成分中のLn元素に対するTi元素のモル比pで、0<p≦1.5であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の誘電体磁器組成物。
- SiO2が前記副成分に含有されると共に、前記SiO2の含有量が、前記主成分100重量部に対する重量比wで、0<w≦1であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の誘電体磁器組成物。
- 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の誘電体磁器組成物からなるセラミック焼結体の表面に電極部が形成されていることを特徴とするセラミック電子部品。
