Claims (11)
- 表面にグレーズ層が形成された基板と、
上記グレーズ層上に形成された電極と、
外部装置との接続のために上記基板の縁部に取り付けられた外部接続用部材とを備えており、
上記外部接続用部材が、上記電極に半田付けされているサーマルプリントヘッド装置であって、
上記グレーズ層と上記電極との間に介在する緩衝層を備えており、
上記緩衝層は、上記電極における上記基板の上記縁部側の先端部外周からはみ出していることを特徴とする、サーマルプリントヘッド装置。 - 上記緩衝層は、上記電極の外周全体からはみ出している、請求項1に記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。
- 上記緩衝層は、Au膜により形成されている、請求項1または2に記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。
- 上記グレーズ層上に形成され、かつ上記電極に導通する配線を備えており、
上記緩衝層は、上記配線の一部により形成されている、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。 - 上記配線および上記電極上に配された配線保護層を備えており、
上記緩衝層は、上記電極のうち上記配線保護層には覆われていない部分の外周全体からはみ出してる、請求項4に記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。 - 上記電極は、上記配線上に形成されたパッドと、上記パッド上に形成され、かつ上記パッドよりも半田濡れ性が優れているとともに上記パッドよりも面積が小さい電極上部層と、を有した構成とされている、請求項4または5のいずれかに記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。
- 上記パッドは、Ag膜により形成されており、
上記電極上部層は、Ag−PtまたはAg−PdまたはAgに半田濡れ性を向上させるための添加物を加えたものによって形成されている、請求項6に記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。 - 上記添加物は、酸化ビスマスである、請求項7に記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。
- 上記パッドは、上記基板の上記縁部側が面取りされている、請求項6ないし8のいずれかに記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。
- 上記外部接続用部材は、少なくとも上記電極に対して半田付けされた部分が接合部保護層により上記基板ごと覆われている、請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。
- 上記外部接続用部材は、上記基板を挟持可能なクリップピンが複数備えられたクリップコネクタ、または、フレキシブルケーブルである、請求項1ないし10のいずれかに記載のサーマルプリントヘッド装置。
