Abstract
Description
チタンブトキシド10ml及びチタンイソプロポキシド10mlをエチルアルコール100mlに分散させた後、常温で30分間撹拌し、TiO,TiO0.5、TiO0.68、TiO1.3、TiO1.5、TiO1.7及びTiO1.9の混合物形態であるTiOx(0<x<2)のゾル溶液を得た。前記ゾル溶液に平均粒径が20μmである二次粒子形態の天然黒鉛を添加し、1〜2時間の間、ゾル−ゲル(sol−gel)反応を誘導した。一定量の反応溶液を約70℃のウォーターバスで撹拌しながら溶媒を気化させた後、生成された粉末を窒素雰囲気下で500℃で熱処理を行った。このようにして、平均粒径10nmのブラックチタン酸化物TiOx(0<x<2)が天然黒鉛の含量を基準として1%の量で表面コーティングされた天然黒鉛粉末を得た。
負極の製造時、負極活物質としてブラックチタン酸化物(TiOx,0<x<2)が5%の量で表面コーティングされた天然黒鉛を使用することを除いては、実施例1と同様の工程でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
負極の製造時、負極活物質としてブラックチタン酸化物(TiOx,0<x<2)がコーティングされていない天然黒鉛を使用することを除いては、実施例1と同様の工程でリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記製造されたリチウム二次電池に対して充放電を行った。この際、充電は、0.005Vの電圧まで1C レート(rate)の電流密度で、放電は同じ電流密度で2Vの電圧まで行い、このような充放電を100回施した。
その結果を表1に示した。
Claims (11)
- 正極、負極、前記正極と負極との間に介在された分離膜及び二酸化硫黄系無機電解液を含み、
前記負極は、負極活物質としてチタン酸化物(TiOx,0<x<2)がコーティングされた炭素材を含むことを特徴とする、リチウム二次電池。 - 前記チタン酸化物は、TiO、TiO0.5、TiO0.68、TiO1.3、TiO1.5、TiO1.7、TiO1.9またはこれらの二種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記チタン酸化物は、炭素材の含量を基準として0.5〜20重量%でコーティングされることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記チタン酸化物は、炭素材の含量を基準として0.5〜10重量%でコーティングされることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記炭素材が、天然黒鉛、人造黒鉛、非晶質ハードカーボン、低低結晶質ソフトカーボン、カーボンブラック、アセチレンブラック、ケッチェンブラック、スーパーP、グラフェン、繊維状炭素またはこれらの二種以上の混合物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記チタン酸化物(TiOx,0<x<2)でコーティングされた炭素材は、チタン酸化物前駆体を溶媒に分散させてゾル溶液を得、前記ゾル溶液と炭素材を反応させてゾル−ゲル反応を誘導した後、熱処理を行うことで得られることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記チタン酸化物前駆体が、チタンブトキシド、チタンイソプロポキシド、チタンテトラクロライド、チタンエトキシドまたはこれらの二種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記二酸化硫黄系無機電解液は、二酸化硫黄(SO2)及びリチウム塩を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム塩は、LiAlCl4、LiGaCl4、LiBF4、LiBCl4、LiInCl4またはこれらの二種以上の混合物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記二酸化硫黄(SO2)は、二酸化硫黄系無機電解液中に、リチウム塩1モルを基準として1〜6モルで含まれる、請求項8に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記分離膜は、ガラス繊維材質であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
