Claims (6)
- 管継手を封止する環状封止素子であって、
前記環状封止素子は、金属製の剛性の本体を有し、管の自由端上を摺動するように構成され、
前記本体は、長手軸を画定し、かつ、
環状基部と、中間部と、接触部とを備え、
前記環状基部は、前記長手軸と同軸になるように構成された内側面と、前記内側面に垂直な前面とを有し、前記前面は、前記環状封止素子の第1の長手方向端部を構成し、かつ、軸方向の力を受け、前記中間部を通して前記力を前記接触部へ伝えるように構成された負荷面を提供し、
前記接触部は、前記環状基部の第2の長手方向端部を構成し、前記管と周囲の2次的封止素子との間の封止を行うように構成され、
前記接触部は、前記2次的封止素子との接触のために半径方向に外方に前記中間部の端部より張り出すように、かつ、前記管との接触のために半径方向に内方に前記中間部の前記端部より張り出すように構成され、
前記中間部は、前記環状基部から前記接触部まで延びる凹状内側面を有する、環状封止素子。 - 前記接触部は、断面ほぼ部分円形である、請求項1に記載の環状封止素子。
- 前記中間部は、前記接触部に向かってテーパー状である、請求項1又は2に記載の環状封止素子。
- 前記中間部の外側面は、前記接触部に向かってテーパー状である、請求項3に記載の環状封止素子。
- 管を別の管又は継手に接続する継手装置であって、該継手装置は、
管の自由端を挿入するための開放端を有する継手体と、
前記継手体の前記開放端に挿入された管の自由端に対する軸方向の動きを防止又は制限する機械的噛合い機構と、
前記管の前記自由端が前記継手体の前記開放端に挿入されたとき、前記管の前記自由端と前記継手体との間の金属間封止を行う、機械的封止機構とを備え、
前記機械的封止機構は、管の自由端に係合するよう構成された第1の金属製封止素子と、前記第1の金属製封止素子と前記継手体の内側面との間に位置するように構成された第2の金属製封止素子とを備え、前記第1の金属製封止素子と前記第2の金属製封止素子との間に金属間封止が形成され、
前記第1の金属製封止素子は、請求項1ないし4のいずれか一項に記載の環状封止素子である、継手装置。 - 2本の管を流体連通して接続する、装置であって、該装置は、
対向する開放端を有し、各開放端が管の自由端を挿入するように構成された継手体と、
管の自由端が前記継手体の開放端に挿入されたとき、前記管の前記自由端に対する前記継手体の軸方向の動きを防止又は制限する、機械的噛合い機構と、
前記開放端の一方に挿入された管と前記継手体と間の金属間封止を行う機械的封止機構とを備え、
前記継手体は、金属面を備え、
前記機械的封止機構は、
管の自由端に、又は該自由端の周りに係合し前記継手体の1つの端部に挿入されるように構成された金属製封止素子であって、該金属製封止素子が前記管との封止、及び、前記継手体の前記金属面との封止を形成するように構成された、金属製封止素子を備え、
前記金属製封止素子は、請求項1ないし4のいずれか一項に記載の環状封止素子である、装置。
