Claims (18)
- 骨成長装置と、
外部遠隔制御装置とを含む、
骨成長のためのシステムであって、
前記骨成長装置は、
インプラント本体と、
該インプラント本体に結合されるアクチュエータと、
生物学的状態を示す測定可能なパラメータを検出するように構成されるセンサと、
前記測定可能なパラメータと関連付けられたデータを前記外部遠隔制御装置に送信し、前記外部遠隔制御装置から命令を受信するように構成される、送受信機と、
前記外部遠隔制御装置からの前記命令に応答して前記アクチュエータを移動させるように構成される制御部とを含み、
前記アクチュエータは、前記インプラント本体を調整し、
前記外部遠隔制御装置は、前記骨成長装置からの前記測定可能なパラメータと関連付けられたデータを受信すること及び前記骨成長装置のための命令を送信することのうちの1つ又はそれよりも多くのために構成される、
システム。 - 前記測定可能なパラメータと関連付けられた前記データ、前記外部遠隔制御装置からの前記命令、及びステータス情報のうちの少なくとも1つを格納するように構成される、メモリを更に含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記インプラント本体は、前記インプラント本体と骨の第1の部分との間の第1の接続点と、前記インプラント本体と骨の第2の部分との間の第2の接続点とを更に含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整は、前記第1の接続点と前記第2の接続点との間に圧縮を加えることを含む、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整は、前記第1の取付点及び前記第2の取付点を通じて延びる直線に対して平行でない少なくとも1つの成分を有する力を前記骨に加えることを含む、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整は、前記第1の取付点と前記第2の取付点との間の距離を長くするよう力を加えることを含む、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記生物学的状態は、骨形成である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記測定可能なパラメータは、前記第1の接続点と前記第2の接続点との間の距離である、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記測定可能なパラメータは、前記第1の接続点と前記第2の接続点との間の運動である、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記測定可能なパラメータは、血流、温度、歪み、pH、応力、骨組成、骨量、骨密度、骨厚み、骨潅流、骨強度、骨酸素化、電気伝導度、及び活性媒体の存在のうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記外部遠隔制御装置によって充電されるように構成される電源を更に含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 外部供給源からエネルギーを受容するように構成されるエネルギー受容要素を更に含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記インプラント本体は、髄内装置である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記外部遠隔制御装置は、
前記骨成長装置からの前記測定可能なパラメータと関連付けられたデータを受信し、前記骨成長装置のための命令を送信するように構成される、第1の送受信機と、
ケア提供者からケア情報を受信するための入力部と、
制御部であって、
前記測定可能なパラメータと関連付けられたデータ及びケア情報を受信し、
前記測定可能なパラメータと関連付けられたデータ及びケア情報のうちの少なくとも1つに基づいて前記骨成長装置のための前記命令を生成する、
ように構成される、
制御部とを含む、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記外部遠隔制御装置の前記入力部は、患者情報をケア提供者に送信し、該ケア提供者からケア情報を受信するように構成される、第2の送受信機を含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記外部遠隔制御装置は、患者情報を表示するように構成される表示部を更に含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記外部遠隔制御装置は、前記骨成長装置に電力を供給するように構成されるエネルギートランスミッターを更に含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記外部遠隔制御装置は、前記測定可能なパラメータと関連付けられた前記データ、前記ケア情報、及び前記命令のうちの少なくとも1つを格納するように構成される、メモリを更に含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
