Abstract
Description
本願は、以下の出願の米国特許法第119条に基づく利益に関連しこれを主張する。すなわち、名称「System for Optimizing Patient Turning」の2011年2月2日出願米国仮特許出願第61/438,732号、名称「Methods and Devices that Enable the Sensing of Body Surface Markers for the Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers and Other Wounds」の2010年4月22日出願米国仮特許出願第61/326,664号、名称「Method and Device for Surface Pressure Monitoring」の2010年11月9日出願米国仮特許出願第61/411,647号、名称「Patient Position, Orientation, and Surface Pressure Monitoring Device」の2010年10月15日出願米国仮特許出願第61/393,364号、及び名称「Sensing System that Automatically Identifies and Tracks Body Surface Markers to Allow for the Delivery of Targeted Therapy」の2010年8月12日出願米国仮特許出願第61/373,260号である。上記出願すべては本明細書にすべての目的のために参照として組み入れられる。
arcsin{[(y軸加速度計にて測定された重力加速度)/g]/[cos(y軸まわりの傾動角度)]}

・心拍数(HR)が所定しきい値よりも高い場合、
・HRが急変する場合にHRが所定しきい値よりも低い場合、
・HRが不規則である場合、
・加速度の大きさが所定しきい値よりも高いか又は低い場合、
・加速度の大きさが急変するか又は所定しきい値よりも高い速度にある場合、
・加速度センサにより検知される心拍数が電気信号センサにより検知される心拍数と異なる場合である。
これは、心臓からの電気信号が存在するが機械的な心臓の鼓動が存在しないか又は不規則である心室細動の場合に重要となり得る。当該場合に加速度計データは、EKGデータのための信号検知器がセンサ300の外部又は内部のいずれかに存在するとき、EKGデータと対比することができる。
・呼吸数(BR)が所定しきい値よりも高い場合、
・BRが所定しきい値よりも低い場合、
・これが急変する場合、
・これが薬物の投与と関連づけられている場合、
・これが不規則である場合、
・加速度の大きさが所定しきい値よりも高いか又は低い場合、
・加速度の大きさが急変するか又は所定しきい値よりも高い速度にある場合、
・心拍数が呼吸数よりも低い場合、
・例えばチェーンストークス呼吸のような所定の呼吸パターンの場合である。
ここで、以下の関係がわかる。
重力−法線力の垂直成分=ずれ力の垂直成分
ずれ力=ずれ力の垂直成分/sin(支持表面の傾斜角度)
ずれ力の絶対的な大きさを推定することができる。
加熱及び冷却サイクル及びプロトコルも用いることができる。
Claims (18)
- 患者を監視するための少なくとも一つの加速度計を含む装着可能なセンサデバイスの状態を検知するための方法であって、
前記少なくとも一つの加速度計から加速度データを受信することと、
前記加速度データに少なくとも基づいて、
(a)前記患者の物理的配向を示す患者配向データ、及び
(b)加速度に基づく呼吸データ、加速度に基づく心拍データ、又は加速度に基づく身体動きデータの少なくとも一つを含む加速度に基づく生物測定データ
を決定することと、
前記加速度に基づく生物測定データを少なくとも一つの生物測定パラメータのための少なくとも一つの所定しきい値と比較することと、
前記加速度に基づく生物測定データの前記少なくとも一つの所定しきい値との比較に基づいて前記センサデバイスが前記患者に対して正しく付着又は位置決めされていないと決定することと、
前記前記センサデバイスが前記患者に対して正しく付着又は位置決めされていないとの決定に応答して、通知を生成することと、
を含む方法。 - 前記少なくとも一つの所定しきい値は、最小のしきい値と最大のしきい値の少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記加速度に基づく生物測定データは、前記加速度データに基づいて決定された前記患者の呼吸数を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記加速度に基づく生物測定データは、前記加速度データに基づいて決定された前記患者の心拍数を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記加速度データに基づいて前記患者に対する前記センサデバイスの配向角度を決定することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記加速度データに基づいて前記センサデバイスが付着された前記患者の身体における位置を決定することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 患者を監視するための装着可能なセンサデバイスの状態を検知するための方法であって、
前記装着可能なセンサデバイスの少なくとも一つのセンサからセンサデータを受信することと、
前記センサデータに基づいて前記装着可能なセンサデバイスの配向又は動きを示すセンサデバイス配向データを決定することと、
複数の又はある範囲の基準患者配向又は動きに関連づけられた基準患者配向データと前記センサデバイス配向データを比較することと、
前記基準患者配向データと前記センサデバイス配向データの比較に基づいて前記センサデバイスが前記患者に対して正しく付着又は位置決めされていないと決定することと、
前記前記センサデバイスが前記患者に対して正しく付着又は位置決めされていないとの決定に応答して、通知を生成することと、
を含む方法。 - 前記基準患者配向データは、物理的に可能な患者配向を定義し、前記方法は、加速度に基づく生物測定データが物理的に不可能な患者配向に対応することを前記基準患者配向データに基づいて決定することを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記基準患者配向データは、少なくとも一つの面内の動きの最大角度範囲を定義する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記基準患者配向データは、前記患者の少なくとも一つの状況に対応する患者固有データを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記基準患者配向データと前記センサデバイス配向データを比較することは、前記センサデバイス配向データを前記センサデバイスによって以前に生成され記憶されたセンサデバイス配向データと比較することを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 患者の生理学的状況を監視するためのであって、
患者によって装着されるために付着されるように構成され、加速度データを出力するように適合された少なくとも一つの加速度計を含む装着可能なセンサデバイスと、
前記加速度データに少なくとも基づいて、
(a)前記患者の物理的配向を示す患者配向データ、及び
(b)加速度に基づく呼吸データ、加速度に基づく心拍データ、又は加速度に基づく身体動きデータの少なくとも一つを含む加速度に基づく生物測定データ
を決定し、
前記加速度に基づく生物測定データを少なくとも一つの生物測定パラメータのための少なくとも一つの所定しきい値と比較し、
前記比較に基づいて前記センサデバイスが前記患者に対して正しく付着又は位置決めされていないと決定し、
前記前記センサデバイスが前記患者に対して正しく付着又は位置決めされていないとの決定に応答して、通知を生成する
ように適合されたプロセッサと、
を含むシステム。 - 前記通知に応答して、前記前記センサデバイスが前記患者に対して正しく付着又は位置決めされていないとの指示を表示するように構成された表示デバイスをさらに含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記加速度に基づく生物測定データは、前記加速度データに基づいて決定された前記患者の呼吸数を含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記加速度に基づく生物測定データは、前記加速度データに基づいて決定された前記患者の心拍数を含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記加速度データに基づいて前記患者に対する前記センサデバイスの配向角度を決定するようにさらに構成された、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記加速度データに基づいて前記センサデバイスが付着された前記患者の身体における位置を決定するようにさらに構成された、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記装着可能なセンサデバイスは、前記患者に対して前記センサデバイスを整合させるための配向方向を示す可視指標を含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
