前記第1の極性と反対の第2の極性、時間の関数としての第2の振幅、および前記第1の持続時間の間の第2の持続時間を有する、第2の信号を前記バックプレーン上に印加することと、
前記第2の極性、時間の関数としての第3の振幅、および前記第1の持続時間が先行する第3の持続時間を有する、第3の信号を前記フロント電極上に印加することと、
前記第1の極性、時間の関数としての第4の振幅、および前記第2の持続時間が先行する第4の持続時間を有する、第4の信号を前記バックプレーン上に印加することと
を含み、
前記第1の持続時間にわたって積分される前記時間の関数としての第1の振幅と、前記第2の持続時間にわたって積分される前記時間の関数としての第2の振幅と、前記第3の持続時間にわたって積分される前記時間の関数としての第3の振幅と、前記第4の持続時間にわたって積分される前記時間の関数としての第4の振幅の和は、前記リセット相および前記色遷移相にわたって前記ディスプレイ媒体上のDC平衡を維持するように設計される、インパルスオフセットを産出する、方法。 - 前記リセット相は、前記ディスプレイ上にレンダリングされる前の光学性質を消去する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記色遷移相は、前記ディスプレイによって表示される光学性質を実質的に変化させる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の極性は、負電圧である、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の極性は、正電圧である、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記インパルスオフセットは、前記ディスプレイ媒体によって被られるキックバック電圧に比例する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の持続時間および前記第2の持続時間は、同時に開始する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第4の持続時間は、前記第3の持続時間の間に生じる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第3の持続時間および前記第4の持続時間は、同時に開始する、請求項16に記載の方法。
