Description
図1は、本発明の一実施例により2−ポート(port)ネットワークで相互に連結されたチップ・ツー・チップインタフェース(chip−to−chip interface)装置の構成を概念的に示す図面である。
以下、本発明の実現のために重要な機能を遂行する導波管100の内部構成および各構成要素の機能について詳察する。

Claims (8)
- 電磁波信号伝送のための導波管(waveguide)であって、
誘電率が互いに異なる二以上の誘電体を含む誘電体部、および
前記誘電体部の少なくとも一部を囲む伝導体部を含む、導波管。 - 前記二以上の誘電体には第1誘電体および第2誘電体が含まれ、前記第2誘電体は前記第1誘電体の少なくとも一部を囲む、請求項1に記載の導波管。
- 前記第1誘電体の中心軸、前記第2誘電体の中心軸および前記伝導体部の中心軸は互いに一致する、請求項2に記載の導波管。
- 前記第1誘電体および前記伝導体部の間に配置され、前記第1誘電体および前記伝導体部の間で前記第2誘電体が存在する空間が維持されるようにする支持部をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の導波管。
- 前記第1誘電体は互いに分離された二以上の部分誘電体からなり、前記第2誘電体は前記二以上の部分誘電体の少なくとも一部を囲む、請求項2に記載の導波管。
- 前記第1誘電体および前記第2誘電体のうちいずれか一つは空気からなる、請求項1に記載の導波管。
- 前記導波管を通じて伝送される信号は、前記第1誘電体と前記第2誘電体の間の境界(boundary)に沿ってガイドされるか前記第1誘電体または前記第2誘電体と前記伝導体部の間の境界に沿ってガイドされる(guided)、請求項1に記載の導波管。
- 前記導波管を通じての信号伝送チャネルで周波数の変化により表される時間ドメインでの群遅延(group delay)の変化の程度が既設定された水準以下である、請求項1に記載の導波管。
