Abstract
Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る車両の排気装置1の要部を模式的に示す平面図であり、図2は、排気装置1の要部を車幅方向左側から見た側面図である。この排気装置1は、エンジン(図示せず)からの排気ガスを浄化・消音して大気中に排出するものであり、図1および図2に示すように、エンジンに接続されるフロントパイプ3と、触媒コンバータ5と、メインマフラ7と、リヤパイプ9と、サブマフラ(図示せず)と、テールパイプ(図示せず)と、を備えている。
次に、本実施形態の排気装置1における、フロントパイプ3とメインマフラ7との接続構造について説明する。
次に、本実施形態に係る車両の排気装置1の効果を確認するために行った試験結果について説明する。なお、以下の説明で、本実施例とは上記排気装置1を指し、比較例とは上記排気装置1においてステー10を設けていないものを指す。
本発明は、実施形態に限定されず、その精神又は主要な特徴から逸脱することなく他の色々な形で実施することができる。

Claims (6)
- 排気管と、当該排気管の下流側に設けられるマフラとを備え、当該排気管のストレート部が、当該ストレート部の下流端から屈曲して延びる屈曲部を介して、マフラの上流端に接続される車両の排気装置であって、
上記ストレート部の下流側端部と上記マフラの上流側端部とに跨って設けられる補強部材をさらに備えることを特徴とする車両の排気装置。 - 上記請求項1に記載の車両の排気装置において、
上記補強部材は、上記ストレート部および上記マフラの外周に沿うように湾曲する断面円弧状に形成されていることを特徴とする車両の排気装置。 - 上記請求項2に記載の車両の排気装置において、
上記屈曲部は、下流側に行くほど上記ストレート部の軸線から離れるように屈曲しており、
上記補強部材は、当該補強部材の凸方向と上記屈曲部の凸方向とが略逆向きになるように配置されていることを特徴とする車両の排気装置。 - 上記請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の車両の排気装置において、
上記補強部材には、上記ストレート部と上記マフラとに跨る方向に延びるように、上記屈曲部から離れる側に突出する凸ビードが形成されていることを特徴とする車両の排気装置。 - 上記請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の車両の排気装置において、
上記補強部材には、上記ストレート部と上記マフラとに跨る方向に沿う側縁部を、上記屈曲部から離れる側に折り曲げたフランジ部が形成されていることを特徴とする車両の排気装置。 - 上記請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の車両の排気装置において、
上記補強部材は、上記ストレート部に対し、当該ストレート部の長手方向に沿って溶接されていることを特徴とする車両の排気装置。
