Abstract
Description
本実施形態の磁石材料は、希土類元素と、M元素(MはFe又はFe及びCo)と、を含む。上記磁石材料は、結晶相を主相とする金属組織を具備し、主相中のM元素濃度を高めることにより飽和磁化を向上させることができる。主相は、磁石材料中の各結晶相及び非晶質相のうち、最も体積占有率が高い相である。
第1の実施形態の磁石材料の焼結体を具備する永久磁石は、各種モータや発電機に使用することができる。また、可変磁束モータや可変磁束発電機の固定磁石や可変磁石として使用することも可能である。第1の実施形態の永久磁石を用いることによって、各種のモータや発電機が構成される。第1の実施形態の永久磁石を可変磁束モータに適用する場合、可変磁束モータの構成やドライブシステムには、例えば特開2008−29148号公報や特開2008−43172号公報に開示されている技術を適用することができる。
原料を適量秤量し、アーク溶解法を用いて合金を作製した。次に、合金を溶解し、得られた溶湯をストリップキャスト法により急冷し、合金薄帯を作製した。上記合金薄帯をAr雰囲気下で1100℃、4時間加熱した。その後、ICP−AESを用いて加熱後の合金薄帯の組成を分析した。ICP−AESを用いて求められた磁石材料の組成を表1に示す。
M=Ms(1−HA 2/15H2)(Msは飽和磁化、HAは異方性磁界を表す) (1)
原料を適量秤量し、アーク溶解法を用いて合金を作製した。次に、合金を溶解し、得られた溶湯をストリップキャスト法により急冷し、合金薄帯を作製した。上記合金薄帯をAr雰囲気下で1100℃、4時間加熱した。その後合金薄帯を乳鉢で粉砕し、得られた粉末を窒素ガス雰囲気において、450℃で4時間加熱した。その後、ICP−AESを用いて合金粉末の組成を分析した。ICP−AESを用いて求められた磁石材料の組成を表1に示す。
原料を適量秤量し、アーク溶解法を用いて合金を作製した。次に、合金を溶解及び急冷せず、Ar雰囲気下で1100℃、4時間加熱した。その後、ICP−AESを用いて加熱後の合金の組成を分析した。ICP−AESを用いて求められた磁石材料の組成を表1に示す。

Claims (18)
- 組成式1:(R1−xYx)aMbTc
(式中、Rは1種類以上の希土類元素であり、TはTi、V、Nb、Ta、Mo、及びWから選ばれる少なくとも一つの元素であり、MはFe又はFe及びCoであり、xは0.01≦x≦0.8を満足する数であり、aは4≦a≦20原子%を満足する数であり、bはb=100−a−c原子%を満足する数であり、cは0<c<7原子%を満足する数である)により表される磁石材料であって、
ThMn12型結晶相からなる主相を具備し、
前記組成式1のM元素の30原子%以上は、Feである、磁石材料。 - 前記組成式1のR元素の50原子%以上は、Smである、請求項1に記載の磁石材料。
- 組成式2:(R1−xYx)aMbTcAd
(式中、Rは1種類以上の希土類元素であり、TはTi、V、Nb、Ta、Mo、及びWから選ばれる少なくとも一つの元素であり、MはFe又はFe及びCoであり、AはN、C、B、H、及びPから選ばれる少なくとも一つの元素であり、xは0.01≦x≦0.8を満足する数、aは4≦a≦20原子%を満足する数、cは0<c<7原子%を満足する数、bはb=100−a−c−d原子%を満足する数、dは0<d≦18原子%を満足する数である)により表される磁石材料であって、
ThMn12型結晶相からなる主相を具備し、
前記組成式2のM元素の30原子%以上は、Feである、磁石材料。 - 前記組成式2のR元素の50原子%以上は、Ce、Pr、Nd、Tb、及びDyから選ばれる少なくとも一つの元素である、請求項3に記載の磁石材料。
- 前記磁石材料のX線回折パターンにおいて、前記ThMn12型結晶相に起因するピーク強度の最大値とα−(Fe,Co)相に起因するピーク強度の最大値との和に対する前記α−(Fe,Co)相に起因するピーク強度の最大値の比は、0.20未満である、請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の磁石材料。
- 前記組成式1又は前記組成式2のY元素の50原子%以下は、Zr及びHfから選ばれる少なくとも一つの元素に置換されている、請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の磁石材料。
- 前記組成式1又は前記組成式2のT元素の50原子%以上は、Ti又はNbである、請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の磁石材料。
- 前記組成式1又は前記組成式2のM元素の20原子%以下は、Al、Si、Cr、Mn、Ni、Cu、及びGaから選ばれる少なくとも一つの元素に置換されている、請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の磁石材料。
- 前記主相中のM元素の濃度は、前記主相中のR元素、Y元素、M元素、及びT元素の総量の87.4原子%以上である、請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の磁石材料。
- 前記組成式1又は前記組成式2の前記Mは、Fe1−yCoyで表され、
前記yは、0.01≦y≦0.3を満足する数である、請求項1ないし請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の磁石材料。 - 前記組成式1又は前記組成式2において前記xは0.3<x≦0.6を満足する数であり、前記cは3<c≦3.8原子%を満足する数である、請求項1ないし請求項10のいずれか一項に記載の磁石材料。
- 前記磁石材料のX線回折パターンにおいて、前記ThMn12型結晶相に起因するピーク強度の最大値とNd3(Fe,Ti)29型結晶相に起因するピーク強度の最大値との和に対する前記Nd3(Fe,Ti)29型結晶相に起因するピーク強度の最大値の比は、0.040未満である、請求項11に記載の磁石材料。
- 請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の磁石材料を含む永久磁石。
- 請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれか一項に記載の磁石材料の焼結体を具備する永久磁石。
- ステータと、
ロータと、を具備し、
前記ステータ又は前記ロータは、請求項14に記載の永久磁石を有する、回転電機。 - 前記ロータは、シャフトを介してタービンに接続されている、請求項15に記載の回転電機。
