Claims (5)
- コネクタハウジングにおける端子挿入孔に圧入口から圧入されるピン端子であって、
予めメッキ処理が施された金属線材から切り出され、前記端子挿入孔への圧入時には、圧入方向と交差する第1方向について前記端子挿入孔の内壁面との間に間隙が開いた状態で当該端子挿入孔を貫通する端子本体と、
前記端子本体の中途から、前記圧入方向及び前記第1方向の双方と交差する第2方向に突出して、前記圧入時に前記内壁面に食い込む食込み部と、
前記端子本体における、前記圧入方向について前記食込み部よりも後方側で、前記第1方向について、前記端子本体の他の位置の幅よりも幅広に形成されて、前記圧入時に前記圧入口において前記間隙の少なくとも一部を塞ぐ閉塞部と、
を備えたことを特徴とするピン端子。 - 前記圧入口が、前記圧入方向へと前記第1方向の間隔が狭まるテーパ形状を有し、
前記閉塞部における前記圧入方向の前方側が、前記圧入口の前記テーパ形状に嵌合するテーパ形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のピン端子。 - 前記端子挿入孔が角孔であり、
前記端子本体が、前記金属線材としての角線材から切り出された角柱形状を有し、前記圧入時には、その四周面のうち一対の平行面に直交する幅方向を前記第1方向として、当該第1方向について、前記内壁面のうち前記一対の平行面それぞれに対向する対向面との間に前記間隙が開いた状態で前記端子挿入孔を貫通し、
前記食込み部が、前記四周面のうち前記一対の平行面以外の他の一対の平行面に直交する幅方向を前記第2方向として突出し、前記内壁面のうち当該他の一対の平行面それぞれに対向する対向面に食い込み、
前記閉塞部が、当該第1方向について幅広に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のピン端子。 - 前記食込み部が、前記圧入方向に複数配列して形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のうち何れか一項に記載のピン端子。
- 端子挿入孔が設けられたコネクタハウジングと、前記端子挿入孔に圧入されたピン端子と、を備えたコネクタであって、
前記ピン端子が、請求項1〜4のうち何れか一項に記載のピン端子であることを特徴とするコネクタ。
