Abstract
【解決手段】車両用照明装置(10)は、第1の光(L1)及び第2の光(L2)を照射可能な照射手段(300)と、自車両周辺を撮像した画像情報を利用して物体(30)を検出する第1検出手段(110)と、自車両周辺に電磁波を照射して物体を検出する第2検出手段(120)と、第2検出手段により検出された物体に第1の光を照射するように照射手段を制御する第1制御手段(230)と、第1の光が照射されている状態で第1検出手段及び第2検出手段により検出された物体が、注意喚起を行うべき対象物であるか否かを判定する対象判定手段(240)と、判定手段により物体が対象物であると判定された場合に、対象物に向けて第2の光を照射するように照射手段を制御する第2制御手段(250)とを備える。

Description
本発明の車両用照明装置は上記課題を解決するために、自車両周辺に少なくとも照明用の第1の光、及び注意喚起用の第2の光を照射可能な照射手段と、前記自車両周辺を撮像することで取得される画像情報を利用して前記自車両周辺の物体を検出する第1検出手段と、前記自車両周辺に電磁波を照射することで取得される反射電磁波を利用して前記物体を検出する第2検出手段と、前記第2検出手段により検出された前記物体に前記第1の光を照射するように前記照射手段を制御する第1制御手段と、前記第1の光が照射されている状態で前記第1検出手段及び前記第2検出手段により検出された前記物体が、注意喚起を行うべき対象物であるか否かを判定する対象判定手段と、前記判定手段により前記物体が前記対象物であると判定された場合に、前記対象物に向けて前記第2の光を照射するように前記照射手段を制御する第2制御手段とを備える。
本発明の車両用照明装置の一態様では、前記物体に関する前記第1検出手段の検出結果が、本来得られるはずの情報が得られない状況が生ずる程度に不十分であるか否かを判定する第1判定手段を更に備え、前記第1制御手段は、前記第1判定手段により前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分であると判定された場合に、前記物体に前記第1の光を照射するように前記照射手段を制御し、前記第1の光が照射されている状態で、前記物体に関する前記第1検出手段の検出結果が、本来得られるはずの情報が得られない状況が生ずる程度に不十分であるか否かを判定する第2判定手段を更に備え、前記対象判定手段は、前記第2判定手段により前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分でないと判定された場合に、前記物体が前記対象物であるか否かを判定する。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第1制御手段は、前記第1判定手段により前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分でないと判定された場合に、前記物体に前記第1の光を照射しないように前記照射手段を制御し、前記対象判定手段は、前記第1判定手段により前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分でないと判定された場合に、前記第1の光が照射されていない状態で前記第1検出手段及び前記第2検出手段により検出された前記物体が、前記対象物であるか否かを判定する。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第1制御手段は、前記第2判定手段により、前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分であると判定された場合に、前記物体に前記第1の光を照射し続けるように前記照射手段を制御する。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第1判定手段又は前記第2判定手段は、前記物体の存在が前記第2検出手段で検出されているが、前記第1検出手段によって検出されていない場合に、前記第1検出手段による検出が不十分であると判定する。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第1判定手段又は前記第2判定手段は、前記物体の属性が前記第1検出手段の検出結果から判別できない場合に、前記第1検出手段による検出が不十分であると判定する。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第1判定手段又は前記第2判定手段は、前記物体の検出信頼度が所定閾値よりも低い場合に、前記第1検出手段による検出が不十分であると判定する。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第1の光は、前記第2の光と比べて照射範囲が広い。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第1の光は、前記第2の光と比べて照度が低い。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第1の光及び前記第2の光は、互いに色調が異なる光である。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第2制御手段は、前記第2の光の照射及び停止を所定間隔で繰り返すように前記照射手段を制御する。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記第2の光は、所定のパターンを描画する光として照射される。
本発明の車両用照明装置の他の態様では、前記物体が人であるか否かを判定する第3判定手段を更に備え、前記第2の光は、前記物体が人であると判定された場合に、前記人の顔位置より下側に照射される。
まず、第1実施形態に係る車両用照明装置について、図1から図8を参照して説明する。以下では、車両用照明装置の構成、車載カメラによる物体検出時に発生し得る問題点、車両用照明装置の動作、具体的な照射例、車両用照明装置によって得られる技術的な効果について、順に説明していく。
先ず、第1実施形態に係る車両用照明装置の構成について、図1を参照して説明する。ここに図1は、第1実施形態に係る車両用照明装置の構成を示すブロック図である。
次に、車載カメラ110での物体検出時に発生し得る問題点について、図2を参照して具体的に説明する。ここに図2は、車載カメラ及びレーダの検出範囲を示す上面図である。
本実施形態に係る車両用照明装置10の動作について、図3を参照して詳細に説明する。ここに図3は、実施形態に係る車両用照明装置の動作の流れを示すフローチャートである。なお、図3のフローチャートにより示される各処理は、車両用照明装置10の動作時において、ECU200の各部により実行されるものである。
以下では、実施形態に係る車両用照明装置10による照射例について具体的に説明する。
最後に、本実施形態に係る車両用照明装置10によって得られる有益な技術的効果について説明する。
次に、第2実施形態に係る車両用照明装置について、図9から図11を参照して説明する。なお、第2実施形態は、既に説明した第1実施形態と一部の構成及び動作が異なるのみで、その他の多くは同様である。このため、以下では、第1実施形態と異なる部分について詳細に説明し、他の重複する部分については適宜説明を省略するものとする。
先ず、第2実施形態に係る車両用照明装置の構成について、図9を参照して説明する。ここに図9は、第2実施形態に係る車両用照明装置の構成を示すブロック図である。
第2実施形態に係る車両用照明装置10bの動作について、図10を参照して詳細に説明する。ここに図10は、第2実施形態に係る車両用照明装置の動作の流れを示すフローチャートである。なお、図10のフローチャートにより示される各処理は、車両用照明装置10bの動作時において、ECU200の各部により実行されるものである。
最後に、第2実施形態に係る車両用照明装置10bによって得られる有益な技術的効果について説明する。

Claims (13)
- 自車両周辺に少なくとも照明用の第1の光、及び注意喚起用の第2の光を照射可能な照射手段と、
前記自車両周辺を撮像することで取得される画像情報を利用して前記自車両周辺の物体を検出する第1検出手段と、
前記自車両周辺に電磁波を照射することで取得される反射電磁波を利用して前記物体を検出する第2検出手段と、
前記第2検出手段により検出された前記物体に前記第1の光を照射するように前記照射手段を制御する第1制御手段と、
前記第1の光が照射されている状態で前記第1検出手段及び前記第2検出手段により検出された前記物体が、注意喚起を行うべき対象物であるか否かを判定する対象判定手段と、
前記判定手段により前記物体が前記対象物であると判定された場合に、前記対象物に向けて前記第2の光を照射するように前記照射手段を制御する第2制御手段と
を備えることを特徴とする車両用照明装置。 - 前記物体に関する前記第1検出手段の検出結果が、本来得られるはずの情報が得られない状況が生ずる程度に不十分であるか否かを判定する第1判定手段を更に備え、
前記第1制御手段は、前記第1判定手段により前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分であると判定された場合に、前記物体に前記第1の光を照射するように前記照射手段を制御し、
前記第1の光が照射されている状態で、前記物体に関する前記第1検出手段の検出結果が、本来得られるはずの情報が得られない状況が生ずる程度に不十分であるか否かを判定する第2判定手段を更に備え、
前記対象判定手段は、前記第2判定手段により前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分でないと判定された場合に、前記物体が前記対象物であるか否かを判定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用照明装置 - 前記第1制御手段は、前記第1判定手段により前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分でないと判定された場合に、前記物体に前記第1の光を照射しないように前記照射手段を制御し、
前記対象判定手段は、前記第1判定手段により前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分でないと判定された場合に、前記第1の光が照射されていない状態で前記第1検出手段及び前記第2検出手段により検出された前記物体が、前記対象物であるか否かを判定する
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用照明装置。 - 前記第1制御手段は、前記第2判定手段により、前記第1検出手段の検出結果が不十分であると判定された場合に、前記物体に前記第1の光を照射し続けるように前記照射手段を制御することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の車両用照明装置。
- 前記第1判定手段又は前記第2判定手段は、前記物体の存在が前記第2検出手段で検出されているが、前記第1検出手段によって検出されていない場合に、前記第1検出手段による検出が不十分であると判定することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の車両用照明装置。
- 前記第1判定手段又は前記第2判定手段は、前記物体の属性が前記第1検出手段の検出結果から判別できない場合に、前記第1検出手段による検出が不十分であると判定することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の車両用照明装置。
- 前記第1判定手段又は前記第2判定手段は、前記物体の検出信頼度が所定閾値よりも低い場合に、前記第1検出手段による検出が不十分であると判定することを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の車両用照明装置。
- 前記第1の光は、前記第2の光と比べて照射範囲が広いことを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の車両用照明装置。
- 前記第1の光は、前記第2の光と比べて照度が低いことを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の車両用照明装置。
- 前記第1の光及び前記第2の光は、互いに色調が異なる光であることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の車両用照明装置。
- 前記第2制御手段は、前記第2の光の照射及び停止を所定間隔で繰り返すように前記照射手段を制御することを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の車両用照明装置。
- 前記第2の光は、所定のパターンを描画する光として照射されることを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の車両用照明装置。
- 前記物体が人であるか否かを判定する第3判定手段を更に備え、
前記第2の光は、前記物体が人であると判定された場合に、前記人の顔位置より下側に照射される
ことを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の車両用照明装置。
