Claims (13)
- 式IIA、IIBおよびIICの化合物群より選択される1種類以上の化合物を追加的に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶媒体。
R2A、R2BおよびR2Cは、それぞれ互いに独立に、H、15個までのC原子を有するアルキル基を表し、該基は無置換であるか、CNまたはCF3で一置換されているか、または、ハロゲンで少なくとも一置換されており、ただし加えて、これらの基における1個以上のCH2基は、O原子が互いに直接連結しないようにして、−O−、−S−、
L1〜4は、それぞれ互いに独立に、FまたはClを表し、
Z2およびZ2’は、それぞれ互いに独立に、単結合、−CH2CH2−、−CH=CH−、−CF2O−、−OCF2−、−CH2O−、−OCH2−、−COO−、−OCO−、−C2F4−、−CF=CF−、−CH=CHCH2O−を表し、

- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の液晶媒体を調製する方法であって、式Iの少なくとも1種類の化合物を少なくとも1種類の更なる液晶化合物と混合し、任意成分として添加剤を加えることを特徴とする方法。
- 電気光学的ディスプレイにおける請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の液晶媒体の使用。
- 誘電体として請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の液晶媒体を含有することを特徴とし、アクティブマトリクスアドレスを有する電気光学的ディスプレイ。
- VA、PS−VA、PALC、FFSまたはIPSディスプレイであること特徴とする請求項12に記載の電気光学的ディスプレイ。
